  1. Where abouts in the North West can I find places that offer lessons and certificates etc for Kitesurfing? I figure that we'll either be looking at Wales, or more northern Lancashire way, Lytham St Annes etc?
  2. First jump i did was probably about 4ft (using proteam 8 and super 10 stacked in about 25mph winds) loved every mili second of it!
  3. I managed a 5-6 foot jump with my 8 and 10 stack, was a really really windy day though!
  4. I'd love to, but don't really have that many practical optios as to where to buggy though. St annes as hour and a half, and newborough in anglesey is near 2 hours, but both have banned any wind powered vehicles on the beach!
  5. I have been flying a stack for a few years now and am a bit bored of the restrictions that flyin a stack has. I have always had my sights set on buggying, but i have noticed that there aren't that many beaches nearby that are either suitable for buggying or allow buggying. But while i was at newborough beach watchin hadlow i actually thought that kitesurfin looks pretty damn cool aswell, with less restrictions too. Just tryin to get some more opinions of the two so i can at least try and decide. So what do you think? P.S can only afford to do one or the other at the moment so doing both isn't really an idea.
  6. It'd have been jason then, with his red van. Crammed with gear! Both decent guys, very talkative.
  7. I knew I'd missed something, He was with a tall(ish) bald guy, who i'm pretty sure was Jason Furness (he was the driver of the red flexifoil van).
  8. Last week i was away in anglesey and decided to take my stack out to newborough beach for some well needed dusting off, as i was settin up i notice a guy out on his board pullin some pretty impressive tricks with his HUGE storm 3, it was only Aaron Hadlow!! I left a few hours and didn't say anything, and thought nothing of it. Here's the weird twist, later on the evening in a random pub in a different part of the island guess who'd happen to be sat in there......? Yup Aaron Hadlow again, this time i managed to go speak to him, he's a really nice bloke, good to talk to, as was the tall bald guy with him. After talkin for about 15 minutes he gave me a poster and then signed it aswell. Which totally made my holiday!! The poster now has pride of place amongst other kiting posters in my room.
  9. I would guess, about 35mph. I'm guessing you'll eventually tell us. PS How do you rate the LD? i need a kite but struggling to make a final decision.
  10. Hi there, does anyone know where i can find good quality second hand traction kites at reasonable prices too? it's something that has been bothering me as i cant afford a new one and it'll be bloody ages till i can so i'm pretty desperate. Cheers
  11. I am shortly about to get into buggying but which i can't decide which kite would be best to use, i'm looking at buying either a bullet or Blade II. Which do you suggest? Ta
