  1. Hello Mr Sandrash Glad to see that your love of interesting wheels is still there. They do look good. If they don't look good on your bug, they might look good on the mk. 10. Bought a new kite this week, much to the pleasure of the wife. I am now the proud owner of an Advance Offroad 3.8. Tried it at Mablethorpe today. You will be pleased to know that kite and buggy are now "used". Can't wait for another blast like that. I think the wife took some pics, which I will post if they are any good. Hope all is well and look forward to seeing you soon. Mick.
  2. Still not sure why, but I am not getting any of the links at all. All I get is a picture and the scrolling news thing. Thanks for sending me the form, Brenski. I will be sending it as soopn as possible. The link HD462 posted also works fine, so I have no excuses. Thanks again Mick Update: I have just accessed the site using Opera browser. The site is totally different to viewing in internet explorer. All links and pages are there. Effin Microsoft again.
  3. I don't get a "membership" tab displayed. All I get is the picture and the scrolling news bit. The join our community bit is just for the forums as far as I can tell. I will try pm'ing "Mell". Thanks for the help kitegirl. Mick
  4. I might be missing something, but I have been trying to find the BBC link to join. I have e-mailed them but not had a reply (yet anyway). Can someone post the "join now" URL please. Mick.
  5. Now I understand why you were telling me to look for "interesting" wheels. Loved the mini wheeled buggy! I still think the mk 10 is superb. Should be getting a seat tomorrow. Hope to meet up with yourself and Meatloaf sometime. You will rightfully take great pride in seeing your creations blatting up a beach together. Mick
  6. Box shops in the south? There must be one somewhere nearby. Every town has an undertakers somewhere. Brass handles extra though. Go for economy rope ones. DM
  7. Looks good. Goes better!! I am well chuffed with my new toy. I just need to learn how to use it properly now. Looking forward to meeting you again. Sooner rather than later, I hope. I will post more pics soon. Thanks again. Mick.
  8. Can I come and play? I like toys!!!
  9. This is what google turned up. http://www.kiteman.co.uk/LargeKites.html
  10. Looks like I am going to regret saying that.!! Please don't be too hard on me. I will get one. Perhaps a visit to see the mother in law willingly might help? DM.
  11. Just to make matters worse, I haven't got a buggy. The wife says I can't have one. We will see about that. I do have a mountainboard so all is not lost. BTW, if anyone knows where there is a reasonably priced decent buggy, or anyone makes them without costing the earth, give me a shout. DM
  12. You need a lot of kites to cope with different conditions as well to prevent getting bored or hurt. This costs £££££. Wife gets cross because you want another... Wind invariably in the wrong direction to have maximum fun. Just when you think you are getting it right, something goes wrong or wife gets annoyed because she is not getting the attention. You have to pack up and.... Bloody good fun though. Maybe this is why we keep punishing ourselves. DM
  13. What is holding you up? Are you the one with the 10.5 C Quad?
  14. I suppose with a kite you can land on cats/ dogs/ people/ rocks/ sharp sticks etc. from a greater height. Not sure whether this is a good or bad thing. Further thoughts required on this. These boards are a great way of getting hurt however you look at it. DM
  15. I've just stubbed my toe. I got my Blade from the cupboard earlier and almost tripped on the carpet. Best get very drunk, I suppose
