I have a trampa deck that's not getting used anymore. Im out of the hobby, It has trampa "alloy" wheels MBS straps Scrub bag Trampa handle I dont even know how to value it. Its been lying up so prob needs new bearings and a clean up. Does £160 delivered in the UK sound fair? Im based in Ireland

I dont think kiting is more expensive than other equipment heavy sports, even serious fisherman spend a couple of hundred on a rod and a few hundred on a reel, look at horse riding and scuba diving even motorsports. in fact i think its good value as a sport. Think my gear as it stand cost 2700e and I get a shit load of joy out of it 130 hours kiting last year alone. thats 13m 11m 9m ozone instinct sport+,3 sets of bars/lines,Nobile pro TwinTip, RRD directional board ,Trampa land board,mystic warrior harness and 5/3 gul wetsuit.All seconhand except the harness and wetsuit.And all the good mates I've made over the last 5 years. Sounds like a deal to me.And i can myself getting another 2 years out of the kites, -

Personally I think it makes a massive difference to Jump height! Back when I stared I had a piece of dirt blue earth board,it was shocking. Got a trampa after a while and its a different game altogether.Now I cant ride anything else.ply scub decks feel like shite to me!

Good point!I nearly busted my ankle and my arm up on Saturday!Had a serious session on my 13m.Didnt risk the board off but I was counting how long my handle grabs lasted!Got one with a count of 8!I did a big air and a one footer,put my foot back in and relised I had all the time in the world so I went for another foot out and I couldnt get my foot back in!Land right on the board.I decided to take a break then so I pulled my safety to land the kite(I was alone),and wtf????my leash was undone from the fall!had to sprint 100m after the kite !felt like a right fool! I'll post a pick of the bruise I got on my arm when it goes purple.

thanks for the tips!sounds easy..... I can do handle grabs and count to 3 or 4 (sometimes) Is it easer to do them with a transition? I jump better to the right but been thinking of doing the board offs to the left and land straight down wind or just to the right a bit.

So trucks are gone, bindings are gone. the hubs arent worth much so i dont think I'll sell them.postage is too high. Ive the deck and handle left. I believe the deck to be 13 ply I can t find any markings on it.I'll weight it later and measure the thickness. postage will be quite high on it so I'll do a good deal.PM me for more details

The trucks are now sold,(payment pending) Im keeping the tyres/tubes. so the deck handle bindings (mbs) and the 4 hubs (3 spoke)are up for grabs. I'll do a really good deal if somebody wants the lot. pm me with offer

There round,metallic red,a few chips of them. Standard mound as far as i know. Titanium axel?who knows!im the second owner but I never used them as I have a pair already

I'll just saying is be careful with HQ's.I got stung badly and couldnt say anything or else I wouldn't be able to resell. Took me ages to sell them and I felt bad selling them because they were so bad. Anyway just try before you buy and dont read any of the "reviews" from HQ insiders,

Save your money man, Some flaws is a serious under statement! They are pure dirt!Ive nothing against foils at all.Fly surfer are there and have been for years but HQ are a long way away with there closed cell kites.Id be very very very weary of the matrixx.I'd like to see a proper honest review from someone thats not a HQ teamrider and has real experience kiteing. I've flown a lot of kites in the last 4 years both foils and lei and I think the neo and montana are the worst of the foils.Sure they could pack a punch at times but the delivery of the power was shite.Aslo there so painfully slow Save your money and buy a secondhand LEI.Id highy recommend ozone instinct sport + (2009) Just my 2cents.

After my previous experience with the HQ neo MK1 I would't touch another HQ depower kite with a barge pole. Build quality was good but the performance was shockingly poor.Also dangerous.And HQ had the cheek to flood the web with false reviews claiming them to be the best thing ever.Also the team riders should be ashamed of themselves for the lies that told about the neo. Insane turning speed was what they sold it as and it was the slowest kite Ive ever flown!!!!!!!! Rant over

Its a trampa deck with revo trucks,MBS ratchet footstraps, prolimit grab handle, Trampa 3spoke alpha hubs. Tires are almost new and I put new bearings into it The ratchets are a little rusty but working properly.Heres pics anyway.I reckon its 500+ quid new.Theres a Scrub bag with it. Make me an offer. as for turning quicker there is no official mod but i will ask the question for you all right now. please do,Sometimes I wanna punch its face in its soooooo slow! Sure it comes alive in its upper wind range but it's too powerfull and theres not enough depower at all.It also wants to overfly the zenith.I'd like to try the neo2's but I doubt I ever will.I wouldnt recommend them either.So many unfinished things with this kite.
