One of the best reviews i've read for a long time, and by the sounds of it were all gonna be salivating over this kite when it comes out!! Itching to see what the cost will come out at - especially the 9.5m version. -

Hi Mate! Nice to see you got a kite, i think the Buster would be a good choice as a starter kite and will give you many Happy Days! Before you go mad on the jumping, take time to get used to the performance and range of the Buster and then get adventurous --- Don't take it out in higher winds until you can handle it comfortably. Roll on Summer!! :-)

Sounds like you already had a corrected version if putting it back to standard gave you better results! What were the wind conditions like when you were lifted? Did you try the Modification before you first flew the kite? Skyboy:)

Can't wait for a test on the 7.7 in lighter winds, they all sound great kites so far! Nice review Offshore - ask Alex at HQ to get the sewing machine out and send you or Jerry a 7.7m to test asap. Actually can he send it to me to test and you can borrow it to try?LOL!

An interesting first fly with the new crossfire! The control you describe sounds promising as does the lift and power! I would have liked to hear about the new Handles in the package but you couldn't comment on those! Look forward to more from you about further experiences with this kite, and hope the wind and weather is there for you to do so! Thanks for the review. Duncan..

Interesting review on a kite that i have heard of only recently. I'm relatively new to this sport but am amazed at the many types and designs of kites that are out there! This review was a pleasure to read, informative and unbiased in its content, i'm sure if money was no object we would all have make more space to contain an ever growing collection! Only then we wouldn't have time to fly them all !!! I have a collection that is growing quarterly! Stop tempting me!!!!!!! You answered a question about that Zip tho! ATB..

Thanks Jerry for a great review of this kite. I think HQ have thought long a hard over the whole design process, which has ended up with a kite series that has the user in mind in many ways! I love the look of them in the air and the graphics-superb! The whole package seems to good to resist. Will start to save the pennies to see if i can get one later in the summer,i think the 6.3 will be ace for Jumping and lighter winds. Decided to get a Board/Harness & Helmet first tho!
