  1. Have been flying 6, 8 and 10 Flexis and 3.3 Symphony quad for years then babies intervened with my leisure time but now back in the kiting groove!!! Looked long and hard before committing to a 5.5 Buster - wanted lots pull but no lift - at 38 I dont bounce too well any more and take too long to mend when broken - wanted to go landboarding with kite as a learning curve to gettin out onto the waves, so a Buster it was!!! Wont go over kite quality etc as its all been said before - you get what you pay for - its all fine. Oh, and its very and I do mean very PINK!!! First fly was at Blackrock Sands in light breeze 5-8 mph with supplied handles and lines - it was easy to set up and kite, once fluffed sat there like a puppy until lines were tugged - it fills slowly over the 1st couple of feet off the ground and then BANG!! - yeeehaah!!!! If you want pull buy one of these!!! Kite is immensely stable there are no surprises anywhere in the window with gusting etc - it was exactly what I wanted, easy to fly and a huge workout - spent the next hour scudding around with ease and with stupid grin on my face. It sits at the top of the window rock solid for when you need a rest so no worries there. Theres no luffing and its so easy to control even at the edges of the wind window. Brake line use sees it fly backward with accuracy and land so easy - just like dropping a pillow. 2nd flight was in 20mph+ winds!!! with upgraded 30m 500/300 lines and Kite Essential handles - was ready for the take off pull but wasn't ready for the speed of the scud - after 30 feet of skid,as the kite climbed I was still accelerating - FAST! - lots of brake line slowed me down after at least 120 feet which was good cos I was barefoot and things were getting very warm on the toes front (n.b.wear shoes when scudding) - a few passes around the window proved two things - the longer lines make a huge difference for improving the window range and that 20mph+ was too much wind for a fun fly on the beach with such a large kite - I was out of my experience range with such a kite so self preservation made me put it back on the ground and pack it away. (it was back to the 3.3 symphony quad instead - wotta larf!!) -am sure though with a board/buggy such wind speed will see this kite tug you to quite scary speeds. Conclusion - fab kite - BUY ONE!, rock solid performance - BUY ONE!, no scary behaviour - BUY ONE!, huge pull even in superlight winds - BUY ONE!! - if you don't have a huge budget and are not fussed about big air and the fact its pink BUY THIS KITE!!!!, Pound for pound (£190.00ish at Coastguard-kites.co.uk) I have never been happier! - am now looking to buy a 3m for those windier days - shame it only comes in blue - hey ho! P.S. have just bought a Trampa 35 degree Scrub Board and lotsa padding so cannot wait for the kiting ban to be lifted at Blackrock as I think this kite will be awesome with a board - this is a new sport for me so to be able to concentrate on the board and not to worry about the kites behaviour will be great - watch this space!!!!
