I was just out kiting, and my kite kept trying to go up and past the zenith (behind me). After which it would then simply fold up and collapse... What am I doing wrong? :S I was facing downwind...

Hi all, My Father took up powerkiting a few years back, and I used to go with him and fly my (smaller) kite. He passed away a while back, when I was still fairly young. I was clearing the garage, and I came accross his old Kite and Buggy. I can't remember what size it is, but it was too big for me to use at the time, but I feel I am old enough now and I would really like to give it a go! The buggy has hardly ever been used, and I would really love to learn to use it! I have some experience flying my flexifoil kite, but I have none with buggies. I understand some of the basics, but what I REALLY need is somebody to give me some pointers. Is there anyone who would be willing to let me tag along with them so that I can learn to fly? I am in the Basingstoke area, but I can take my kite anywhere relatively nearby. I probably wouldn't be able to take the buggy with me much further than Basingstoke however, as I ride a motorcycle... But I may be able to get a lift or something Failing that, if you could perhaps point me in the right direction, I would be really appreciative Kind regards, Fisher.
