  1. I'm skinny 193cm tall and only 72kg. So yes I look like a beanpole ... @mick I'm in maidenhead but mainly kitesurf in Lancing & Camber, where are you based?
  2. Thats very helpful, Thanks for your advice - i'll keep trying different sizes until I'll find the right one to buy
  3. Grać ? Chodzi ci o pływanie ? Najczęściej Lancing i Camber fajnie by bylo sie spotkac i posluchac cennych rad Pozdrawiam
  4. So what would be you recommendations?
  5. Hi All, I'm looking to buy my first board. I'm 72 kg and have a 10.5m kite. Have a chance to get my hands on north gonzales 143cm. Does it not going to be too big? All advise appreciated. Thanks
  6. Mick I meant where are you based or normally kitesurf?
  7. what if kite after stall is quickly sent to centre of pw? For me is good reason to use safety...
  8. Seems like more & more questions have been risen everyday, strange though no official response has been given yet... http://www.kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2374811 Ps. Mick which part are you?
  9. "Yep, pretty much the same thing"
  10. "If I can't talk my buddies into following me and don't want to pay a stranger a couple hundred bucks to follow me in a cheap little boat just in case there is trouble, is it reasonable to make others responsible (and at risk of harm or death) for my poor judgment without their consent?"
  11. "I think the whole thing comes down to one question... is it responsible to take risks which have a high probability of ending in the need to be rescued by non connected people risking their lives to help you. What if one or more of your rescuers is killed attempting to save you... is it worth it?"
  12. Point me if I'm wrong but this cannot be real... This might be use close to the coast but not at open sea (in my opinion) something like catamaran would be much better and could easy keep up with kitesurfer. Now what would be more dangerous or irresponsible : No support boat or 3m pontoon with 3 people inside like above... There are definitely more experienced people here who sail on open sea to tell us the truth As a reference: now go and follow the kiter with the above pontoon
  13. No matter what something like this: Switlik - ISPLR Single Person Life Raft - Tech Specs should be a must in such a long crossings...
  14. Hold on read the whole line I said that I might overreacted + I have never called You a fool - that's for sure.
