Has anyone tried converting Paragliders into depower kites? To me they are very alike and you can get some really cheap gliders of eBay that are no longer certified to fly with, but to kite with, they are fine.
You can also get gliders with zips in the centre which will open and close and allow for a larger or smaller glider, this is an alternative to buying two kites!
Does anyone know of any good south east beaches for buggies? I live in Salisbury so I am around 30 mins away from the coast. But where is the best place to go as I have only done inland flying.
Lawrence- I will test the turbo bar ASAP and I will probably send you pm Or something about tying knots in the brake leader. What am I looking for in the bar and what advantages will shortening the brake lines do?
Many thanks for all the advice.
My brother has bought a cheaper Peter Lynn buggy and he uses my 3m Beamer. When he gets some money, he wants his own kite, and he has got his eyes on the 3.3m soulfly, do you think this a good kite for him?
Yep that's me.
I have just done a huge sell out of anything I could find and put it on eBay, then I am hopefully getting the turbo bar for my birthday.
Anyway I had an amazing time the other day, just with the 3m kite.
Just been up hudsons field in salisbury this evening on my new flexi bug, fantastic! Great winds has the 3m hq Beamer out which pulling me along really well.
Anyone else go there this evening
