  1. I could be interested in the 7m kite and bar, if he does decide to split how much for that? I'm in Sale so could pick up from Alti. Cheers Paul
  2. St Annes (Great between 2 hrs before and 2hrs after high tide, works best on 8.5m and above) Ainsdale (Similar to St Annes although you need a permit) New Brighton (Best on dropping tide, about 1.5hr after high tide) Rhyl (Can't ride about 2hrs either side of high tide) Llandudno West Shore (I think this is best between 2hrs before high tide and 2 hrs after) Newborough (bit of a drive but mostly works at any tide state) Rhosneigr (not sure best tides etc, only been there once)
  3. I have one, used it for about 15 minutes before it fell off. Great for mounting to the windscreen of your car or prolly to body work, but I think the shock when landing jumps works them loose. Got this on now, hopefully out this sat so I'll report back then - http://www.powerkiteshop.com/gopro-flymount.htm
  4. Had a good one today at Rhyl, 7m weather for me, 3 of us out all in. I wore gloves but my hands were still chilly
  5. Love my oneill psycho 3 .... Warm as toast even in mid feb, plus the XLT is great for me as it goes up to 6 foot 5
  6. Nah, 2012 I think ... I have Atans and they are fine
  7. My vote is the Shinn footpads, size 12 here and no problem with boots on
  8. Yeah I've got some xcel 5mm lobster claw gloves and they are toasty but I'd been out on Tuesday at New Brighton and my forearms were still hurting after wearing them for 3hrs, Decided on the thinner ions and pretty much instantly regretted it! Was a good day tho ... Bit much for the 9m really but still had a laff
  9. @dragnfly ... So it was you with no gloves... Respect is due, my hands were like ice blocks even with gloves on. The rest of me was toasty warm but hands were so cold .... In fact there were a few people out at Blackpool with no gloves .... V. Impressive
  10. Another vote for kitebarn, turnaround is very fast and a really pro job on the pigtails. The photo on the website is actually some pig tails and sliders he made for me. I previously tried the place you've linked to and the results were pretty shoddy.
  11. Newborough was pretty brutal today, got on the water at 8am and had the place to myself for what must have been 2 hours!! Gusty as a motherluva but made for some interesting jumps and some aborted front rolls!!
  12. Funny, I remember being called a bell end on here the other week ....
  13. Tuesday morning this week, forecast was about 13 and I checked Hilbre at about 7am and it was showing 17knts , I got there at 930 ish and it had dropped off to about 14 and it's just not quite enuff. Monday night was forecast about 16 and it was blowing low 20s all evening ..... Although I did get out and it was ace Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Tell me about it, the day I gamble on it too, it turns out to be crap Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Forecasts are a bit crap .... I find the whole affair rather frustrating too. I usually end up looking at the real time versus forecast in the morning then add the difference to get what I think it might do all day, if Rhyl says 14 on windfinder then it's usually 17 to 20 .... But not always Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
