HQ Matrixx 12m
I have owned this kite for the past 2 years and during this time it has not had much use due to wind conditions and slowly not getting out as much. It will fly in hardly any wind and is a great low wind kite. It has never been on the water and has always been looked after. No repairs.
2007 North Vegas 12m
I have owned this kite since 2009. It has always been looked after, it is in good condition for its age. It has had no repairs and only has one pin hole which has been patched. All the bladders still hold air. This kite has been well travelled so the bag is a bit worn but overall is in good condition.

2010 North Vegas 7m
I have owned this kite since 2012. It is also in very good condition for its age due to only being used on the few occasions the wind has been strong enough. It is a really fun kite to fly as it is quick and loops well. The bag is also quite worn due to being well travelled. No repairs.

Liquid Force DLX 142 + Comp straps/pads
This board has been my go to board for the past few years. It rides really well in chop and is great on flat water. It can be ridden with boots but also the straps on it are the best I have ever used. The board has some cosmetic scratches on the bottom due to being used at the cable and in shallow water.

2011 Hyperlite Remix Boots
I got these boots to go with the DLX at the cable and they have not been heavily used during this time. I have only had a couple of sessions with them. They are in good condition and fit me well. I am a size 7/8.

Hey,
I was up there on Sunday and Saturday, I was on the 12m HQ Matrixx and was with a friend with the Flysurfer.
KiteBoyStu was up there in the buggy with the 12.5 Montanna 7, and Zippy with the White LEI.
I'm not sure if any of the others are on here but we haven't had that many kites up there in a very long time. Was good to see soo many.

RBS have a competition for student societies and the video with the most views by june 26th will win £5000 for the society.
This means we can buy lots of new kit for the club for all our beginner to learn on and discount the beginners lessons more.
All you need to do is watch the video and share it if you want to help out.
Cheers

I have no idea... what are the usual rules for kiting on weston beach? but I know they just had demos from a local kite club at the bristol kite fest... not sure if it would be easier to find out who is doing it, and see if you can join then. I dont see why not.
Either way I would have thought most would be at the BKSA land event this weekend in suffolk. I would be going if I wasn't moving flat in Bristol :/
Yea been to Llangennith many times before, but only land boarded there once as it was very bumpy, I know you are meant to stay the far side of the river, but i couldn't help jumping over it
But I would normally spend my time kitesurfing, I think its the 12th-16th of june we will be there
I have also been to almost every other beach this side of Pembrey in south wales
The weather looks really good this saturday so I might also make an appearance
Where about do you go down the gower Stu?
Im heading to Llangennith for 5 days camping mid june with Bristol Uni Kitesurfing, been there quite a few times before, just wondering what beaches you go to?
8ft in the air would sure look good from the ground. I gave up on using GoPros and stick to DSLRs now.
Hopefully see you up the horse on a good day sometime soon Stu, as I'm going to be making a new video soon Would be good to get some jumping shots something different to all the land board tricks
We were very busy today... Couldn't manage to get up
The problem with GoPros are they doesn't look very impressive unless you are doing something very big.
Hope to get up soon
We where planning on heading up tomorrow afternoon, hopefully by about 1 or 2 ish. Got up for a good light wind session last week when the sun was out Got some pics here >> https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.4193853863502.1073741827.1799355792&type=3
Hopefully see you tomorrow
Recently they have almost completed removed it, the GP is the kite Ruben/Youri are currently riding I think, and it only has a very tiny penis on it...
GP V2
Bristol is ok for kitesurfing... Its about a 2 hour drive to the best beaches in south wales and poole/portland. But there are a couple of closer beaches in wales that are just over an hour away...
Also Bristol is a very nice place to live
Cant see the image in that last link... is it private?
Interested to see how small you have taken it...
I cut and old trampa last year, think it was quite a thick ply, but I took alot of the ends, to make it shorter, and the middle.

Still not got around to sanding the edges :/
This is how the student kitesurfers in the UK put on a comp. The best students in the UK head to Westward Ho for the biggest event of the year. Check it out here
With the Student Kitesurfing Association Nationals competition taking place at westward Ho in 2 weeks, BUKS decided to prepare for by talking a trip and unfortunately we had no wind, so decided to hold our own selection video over the weekend.
We also had flexifoil come down for the weekend and help out/demo some kites.
Was just abit of fun.
Ok cool, I was going to come this year, but had UNI exams and injury I have promised myself I will come to all of them next year to meet people and hopefully compete
Ha cheers carl I don't mind the comments like that but still I cant really be compared to pro riders... and tbh their video is sick.
Hopefully one day I might be in their league, but need to start attending some BKSA comps first, you went this year didn't you carl?
I hadn't heard about the delaminating problems... mine is still going strong.
Basically it has great pop and a really nice feeling deck, Its fairly small but not too small.
Also got some other things in it that stop the deck twisting which gives you more grip for riding up wind.
Also I only like trampa's when they have been cut right down...pretty basic as standard :/
