Looking for a new/ good as new white naish kite safety leash. the wife didn't get one with her kite and i've heard no end of it every time we go. thought it would make a great main pressie from santa.

Pals of mine are always asking about suitable boards to learn on, I tell them bigger=better, it allows you to get away with a few mistakes, speeding up your learning curve so you will quickly progress to a board that is comfortable and works for you. Found this old vid of the school that the wife learnt at in Thailand, check out the boards, top one for your first water starts, onto the bottom one to start planing and the red one when you can start and plane easily. /Users/AMYANDBAZ/Desktop/Boards For Learning.rcproject

Was there for the summer and wasn't impressed with flag beach. If you can fly upwind its ok but on a outgoing tide the rocks/reef become exposed quickly saw a few people get caught out by this. Best to hire a car and drive over to Ell Cotillo the wind is stronger though a bit gusty but there are few hazards also you can check out the 2 kite shops en-route one of which is the RRD distributer, you can save about £100 on a new board there.

Have you checked out handikite on youtube? they have their own site, Handikite with pics of prototype's. the site is in french which is a bit of a bummer though.

Heading to Lytham ourselves from castleford, will be passing the bottom of the 606 about 7.15, no room in the car unfortunately but you're welcome to join the convoy (black focus black merc)

get a van, can carry all your gear and spares, no need to find accommodation you've got your bed with ya, me and wife did it last year.....awesome! failing that head somewhere cheap, we did Dahab for a month for less than £1500 for 2 people, 7m all month, only 2 days no wind.

3 hour drive to rossy putting me off, wife coming with me and she's not got upwind riding cracked yet, looking at map crosby looks cross shore on a se wind

I am heading to the west coast to fly this weekend and fancy trying out Crosby however i can't find much info about the place and wondered if anyone could help me out. Will be on the water mostly but like to finish my trips with a blast on the landboard so any info on either would be great.

We travelled up to the chemical works yesterday @ Seaton Carew, the only place in the north east with any wind. Good beach for a bit of landboarding, works in all directions and we took full advantage, then the wind picked up and we got out on the water, super flat works in almost every direction except west. Big thanks to all the locals especially Craig and Jamie form Epic kites who let us demo some of the kit, flew the 11m Renegade awesome! great boost, super floaty jumps, I've never jumped that high on the land with such confidence and comfort, I really found it hard to give it back! Also flew the 10m Screamer Ltd superb! Would recommend a visit to anyone, the guys form Epic are locals so get there have a chat and demo some really great kites

Hi, had the same problem myself around easter, posted on here asking if Andy was still alive. I got no answer from him by e-mail/phone/text for 10 weeks. Decided to give up on the nicey nicey approach and started to bombard him with txts demanding my kite back, he answered and told me i could collect it that day (3 1/2hr drive). I told him to post it or i'd arrange collection and he went to ground again. Tried the police, couldn't help, in the end a friend was working in Norwich and i arranged for him to pick it up. A real hassle, the guys a dick. Good luck! -
Managed to get in touch with him today via txt. he told me I could call and collect my kite this morning cos he'd be around (3 1/2hrs from Leeds) then proceeded to blank me again. I've decided to go in 'navy seal' style and rescue my kite so if there is anyone else out there who has had their kite kidnapped let me know and i'll get it with mine and post it on.

Mikey Did your kite come back repaired? Did it come with a return address on it? I've been out of the country for a bit and hoped to have my kite on my doorstep when I returned, but nothing. Been to police but they say it's a civil matter. Think my only option is to take a drive down to his house, it's a 3 1/2 hour drive so it would be great if anyone out there could confirm that Andy is still at the same address.

No permit needed, but for a fiver Trax provide a great service where they run you out in a beach buggy to the water when it's out, give you a launch/land, fetch your 12m out from the stores when your 9m wasn't enough and to top it off use of their changing facilities including hot shower. Luxury kiting for a £5

I did get in touch with Andy before sending my kite. He quoted for the work and re-sent me the repair form after I lost the first one, he was also made aware that i needed my kite back within 20 days as i was flying to Dahab to kite. He had ample opportunity to tell me he was unable to do the job. I used Andy once before and the service was great, kite back within the week. I can't understand what's gone so wrong?

Hi, Does anyone out there know if Andy @ Kinetic is still alive? He signed to confirm receipt of my kite on 23/3/11 then vanished off the face of the earth. Can anyone help? Just want my kite back repaired or not!
