  1. Naish Torch 9m & 12m Plus 5-line Shift Bar £575 + p&p Both kites and bar are in excellent condition. If you are looking to get into c-kites these are the ones for you. Super boosting, kiteloops and unhooked these kites make you look better than you are (well they have me). Kevin Langree's weapon of choice, grab a bargain and light up your local beach this summer.
  2. For Sale Airush Livewire 2014 138 x 41. Ridden 4 times, bought new from a team rider. Great board but I should have bought the 135 as I find this size a little large for my 5'4" frame. it has a tiny scratch on the base and a mark under the footpad, see pics. This board retails at £415 board only ( cheapest I can find ) and I will throw in some footpads and fins all for £250 posted. 24-7 Say: Never used a board with edge grip as strong as this. You can literally ride with even pressure on both heels & hold massive levels of power. Works great for anyone looking to go out with a radical style - big airs, massive pop, straps, boots - if your pushing it hard, this is the Airush board you want. 2 year Breakage warranty which includes use of boots. Ooh shes tough.
  3. Check out Tamatoa Gillot. From what I understand he helped develop the Axis Tandem board and has also develop a harness system. There's an article about him in this issue of Kiteworld
  4. cheers guys, will have to go rob the kids piggy bank. worth it though if I get a few extra sessions.
  5. If you get in touch with them they'll tell you which spot will have the best conditions whilst you are there. We went to the school on samui, great spot no wind , they directed us to pranburi, not as pretty but good wind and super chilled.
  6. Generally I use a few sites to plan my kiting every week. I look at wind guru but cast it aside as it has 3 different forecasts, GFS, WRF9km & WRF27km (too tight to pay for wind guru pro). I have tried to figure out which is the most precise forecast model and have come up with the WRF9km as it takes readings from the closest resolution to a particular spot. Am I on the right track????
  7. Dude did a tour of Thailand a few years ago, schools were just gettin established. There are loads of spots, Hua Hin being one (though it's a couple of hours from Bangkok). The wind is very dependant on location/time of year. The wife learnt through kiteboardingasia who have schools all around thailand.
  8. Fantastic kites, high aspect bow kite, super boost and hang time. Would be keeping them but am instructing this summer and have bought beginner friendly quiver. -12m has patch on leading edge, it was a scuff that I put a Dacron repair over to protect the area. -The 9m has a small pin hole repaired with sail tape. -The bar has a small piece of cushioning missing but does not effect the comfort or function in any way. comes with pump and leash, perfect pack for the coming summer £850 ono
  9. thanks Andy, I have the permit for ainsdale, flown there a bit, just dropped a bollock, was planning to do New Brighton in the morning but it looks offshore on the map (didnt in my head), hoping to get on the flat water as the tide came in. Now looking for somewhere on the west that will work on a southerly.
  10. Hi there, does anyone know anything about crosby as a kitesurfing spot. I have found a few bits to suggest people use it but no real info on things like which tides to use, parking, any restrictions. Would really appreciate a bit of info if anyone can help.
  11. cheers guys. all booked and ready to go....its gonna beat the north sea thats for sure!
  12. sorry just noticed you said storage,
  13. Do they do storage?
  14. Thinking of taking a trip to el gonna, just wanted to know if you have to pay to use mangroovy beach as on splocs it says its 7euros a day. I know you can pay to fly @ the movenpick but do you have to pay if you're a guest? if you're not a guest can you fly there in the summer or is the area exclusively for guests during these months? and finally if anyone's got any useful info on kiting/holidaying in el gonna. Thanks
  15. Thinking of heading over to new brighton on Sunday, been told it's best on low tide for a lagoon. Anyone out/got more info?
