  1. Well I am due home this week so as soon as the conditions are right I shall get down there. I took out insurance while I have been offshore so hopefully there should be a policy waiting for me in the mail when I get home and I can let you have the details. Once I have done that what do I say if some one pulls me with the old "you can't do that here!"
  2. That would be great, I will be home in about three weeks. Any recommendations for insurance?
  3. Thanks for that Playboy, have been researching the Turbo bar and think I will try one out when I get back from work (one month) didn't bother with the Blade in the end. Kiteboysi, I have often thought it would be great to buggy down by the golf course on Hayling when the tide was out but thought that was the domain of the kitesurfing club where you had to be a member to play, is this not the case then?

  5. Thanks for that bud, may just hold fire on the blade and concentrate on getting to grips with the Montana.
  6. Hard to say really as I have not invested in a meter, but I would say less than 10 mph. Just seems very slow and unresponsive compared to the flow and just wants to fly straight above my head then collapse, very frustrating. I'm sure ill get the hang of it. So would you say the blade would put me well out of my depth then?
  7. With the above in mind how do you think I would fare with a Blade v 6.5 for light wind days as there is one i am watching on ebay?
  8. Thank you, I have been messing around with the kites for a while now and have had a few trips out on a land board. The kite in the vid is an Ozone Flow 4m , I also have a HQ Montana 9.5 de power but I have not managed to get on that well with it yet, not sure if I am trying to fly it in too lighter winds or what. I shall keep trying and if I have no luck then I will buy a larger fixed bridal kite. I was looking at these turbo bars and wondering what they are like. Biggest problem down here is finding places with clean win to fly in as all the beaches seem to be a no no
  9. Quick video of me first go in a buggy at port Solent last week, hooked.com
  10. hi bash, i would be interested in your 9.5 if you still have it
  11. 12.5 i should add
  12. just been offered one of these brand new for what seems reasonable money. I have been flying fixed bridle for a while and want to get a depower, is this a good option, is it ok for buggying as well? TA
  13. nuff said, thanks for that bud
  14. hello, i've been playing with fixed bridle kites for a while but ulltimately want to go depower. THERE is a sabre ii 12.5 on ebay at the moment the current price is £149. Are these any good and what kind of money is fair to pay if its in good nick. cheers betty
