  7. Thanks for the reply Mick, I have seen a couple of tidy ones on ebay, but will have a look out for the nobiles.. I was told to look out for a delta lei I think the one I used in me lesson was a naish 8 metre.. Felt a bit under powered, it was blowing a good 15 - 20 mph.
  8. Hi all, I'm currently landboarding and now have had some kite surfing lessons and looking at getting some gear, can anybody advise me on the cabrinha convert lei? They seem a good choice from reading reviews, my other question is I have seen a 12 m and a 9 m, I weigh 75 kg, which one is best to get for now? Eventually I'm sure I will get a full quiver but as always I can only afford one for now. Thanks Lee

  17. Alright Guys, its me looking at these kites (-: .. I have been in a bit of a dilema as to which kite i think i should get,, as benbarden said i have limited experience on a sabre 9.5 which has been a good starting point but feel i like to have a go/own a different kite . Ideally a 9m Frenzy is right up my street as i have given a wanted thread for one of these ( not good time of year i know) but while on the look out i have come across some other kites as Ben has mentioned and just trying to get some feed back on them... think we need another go on your Venom!!! (-: Lei's as mentioned bit tricky to self launch, but thats something i could master! hopefully...
  18. How easy are these to self launch on land.. as only flown depowered foil kites?? am very interested any pics on the bars?? thanks Lee
  19. is the kite still for sale?? cheers
  20. pm sent
  21. I'm only 11 stone.. lol so i guess a 9 enough for me! could be a high wind kite for u ben (-; lol.. well to at least pull ya monster buggy along..
  22. Frenzy is the way to go for me i'll have a look for one soon as i have the funds... I did have the kite out lastweekend at the Ho! , and had to free the pullies, bit tricky when the sand gets in them, i'll have to watch out for that.. cheers I guess its the same on the most kites when used on the beach..
  23. Cheers guys.. Thanks for the advice on the kites..., i guess at the time i got used to the sabre.. for it was my first depower kite! and its still going well.. Now xmas is fast approaching i might be able to persuade the wife that i need a frenzie or a manta if i can find a decent one (-: hoping to have another go on me mates venom arc this weekend, see how i get on with it... Too many kites to choose!!!
