Keep an eye on the for sale section here and on racekites.com. I managed to pick up a 7.8 u-turn oxygen for 130 and it has great pull in low winds.

At last Easterly winds, living on the east coast most of the time with lumpy westerly winds it is great to have smooth wind for a good session.

When out use the kiss principle keep it simple stupid. I had a kite not flying well and it was the same thing but did not notice it for a while and just hought it was the wet kite.

A lot use the Garmin etrex which will do what you are looking for.

Blade I find better control with lines between two top fingers.

I have mtb sealskin gloves and find them great I wonder If someone contacts sealskin to see if they could do some for kiting with something hard wearing material between the two fingers for the power line.

Great doing a fix for use on the day. However it would be better to replace handles as if powered up and it goes quick it can cause pull on brake lines causing them to come away from the kite, and could cause an accident. best just to replace the handles now instead of spoiling a good session.

Aware of not making them anymore and as have home insurance with old for new and anything over 350 has to be listed was wondering if the buggy should be listed and how much for

I have a standard rs (not radsail buggy) with a buggybag bag on and was wondering what is the nearest to it if I have to replace it and what cost? I am in the middle of reinsuring house and was wondering if I needed to list it on my policy to get full cover for it.

Mine ran out last year and no reminder, and as other years took time to come with using snail mail. I joined BKSA and had everything through the net few days.

Don't know about whitley bay but do know the south of Blyth beach has a ban as have talked to the beach warden. North Blyth at Chamboies is usable guide here

I have a 1.8 mtr 2 string spirit of the air kite and for just a bit of static fun is great responsive and smooth to fly

The best thing is to find some local flyers and go put for a session with them and they will give you advice that will take you loads of time and frustration to work out yourself

Put a line in the V and pull it through the sleeving. That is how I used the v wire in the sleeving kit.

Photo should now show Sorry Nocando but I have a 3 and 5 mtr kites was going to get a 7 and 2 for greater wind range but if they had been right sizes would have.

If you get a north to north east wind then the leas are good on the bowl and east on the main part of the leas. The wind has not been good this year for getting out

I am in South Shields and a lot of local flyers have gone over to water there was 6 out on the leas this week.
