  1. Easterly winds forcast on sat 11th is that any good at mablethorpe if so might come down always fancied a bash down there!
  2. Ive had a 3m pl hornet for years Its and awesome high wind kite no probs up to 30 mph + very stable and predictable
  3. I've just started boarding as change from buggying and I found it easier with my 3m hornet in 15-29 mph than I did with my 5m riot or 10m access in lower winds because the kite was constantly powered up. After about 2h was comfortably blasting up and down wind and managing to get back to where I started where as with the bigger stuff in low wind I struggled now I'm more confident of how to ride im going to try the depower in lower winds.
  4. I had similar problems with pl pegs I cut up an old bmx tire and put a strip of that round them and fixed with cable ties works a treat
  5. I've just got a 10 m access xc for buggying it is an awesome kite for learning depower took it out in 14+ yesterday felt totally in control.
  6. I was told you could not fly kites in the rain by a "kite expert" however we ventured in heavy ish rain this weekend and had one hell of a fun sesh. 360, power slides were plentiful just wondered if anyone else gets out kiting in rain.

  24. I'm from N.Yorks origionally on the coast moved down for work! Usually fly at Airboss because of the no traction sport policy at Ferry Meadows. Although it's going to be 30 MPH on Saturday so i might risk a telling off down there, claim ignorance. There is always Bretton or Stanground fields as an alternative, not ideal though. If your ever back this way and going flying give us a shout! Cheers
  25. Have you still got the bar? How much with postage? cheers
