  1. Bump - all items are now on ebay. Koma - I can't find the wind meter, have no idea where it is (probably at the beach under 1m of sand)!
  2. Update: All items below are on ebay - prices below don't apply (cheaper on ebay). Hello all, My kitesurfing gear is up for sale to make room for (and help fund) the race bike i am prep'ing for next season. Since i don't have enough time to kite, and ride motorbikes around the track, something has to give. Kites: 19M Venom - Rare (limited edition?) blue/purple/black/white colour scheme, in great (re: excellent) nick. $400 13M Venom - Red/orange/yellow/black/white colour scheme, had a couple small repairs (professionally done), flies great. $300 Boards: Force Industries RX135 - in great condition, complete with fins, foot pads, straps. 100% ready to go. $250 Stonker Evil Bear 125 - fun board, has a few marks on it, but it's bomb proof. $100 Trigger 5'9" Shortboard w/ foot straps for kiting - great for light wind days to cruise around on, excellent condition. $250 Other: Dakine waste harness, in great condition. Red/Black/White colours, size is Medium from memory (will check tomorrow) $75 Offering a package; the 19 & 13m kites, with the RX135 board & harness for $950. This will allow someone to kite from 6-7knots, all the way up to 30knots, and is a cheap way to get into the sport. All items will be going on ebay soon, but i thought i'd give you guys first dibs. Located in SE Suburbs, Melbourne. Will post at buyers expense Australia wide. Pics available by request, email me at sheppo3930(at)hotmail.com. Thanks for reading. Dave.
  3. what nigel said. start at 15psi and go from there.
  4. $500 for the V19 $400 for the V13 (prices are as the first post) PM (or email sheppo3930 at hotmail.com) me if you want to make me an offer. i might be flexible if one was to offer to take both off my hands quickly.
  5. BUMP! 19m and 13m still available.
  6. Buggy is sold to a fellow forum member. Mods - you can close this thread.
  7. Upgrading to a newer SLE/Hybrid inflatable for water use only.
  8. Please see my new add in the for sale section, thanks.
  9. yes buggy is still for sale, courier can be arranged by buyer, from Hallam, VICTORIA, business hours. email me to discuss if you're keen.
  10. i am selling one. check out my forsale add. PM me if interested.
  11. he'll be ripping it up in no time. young kids have no fear as they simply bounce when they fall, and have no responsibilities (job, mortgage, family, etc), thus will push it to the limits! good to see he's getting on the ARC's to learn on. auto zenith and sponge-like gust absorbing of gusts makes for user friendliness.
  12. i'm in the market for a hybrid kite, and would love to try a demo of the Agro (the Griffin too if possible). if you're sending one to Joel, do it via my place i've not seen your kites down this way (south east/southern end of the bay). would be a good move to get a demo (or two) down here for test. we have some really good kiters that would be happy to go have a play on a new kite. cheers

95kg rider, in choppy conditions (most the time), would the 11m be ideal?
  14. Marty, Yeah, kiting has been on the back burner for the past 12 months, looking forward to getting back into it. Demo's would be ideal, but if they all perform to a similar level, and cost around the same, it's going to be what i like the look of, or the features (like single point inflation, how the bar/lines work, etc). From further investigation, the Cabrinha Convert IDS looks nice too! I've got a soft spot for Cabrinha's, and the Convert is marketed as a free-ride/all-rounder kite. Sounds pretty ideal to me. Will pop up to SHQ tomorrow and have a looksee at one in the flesh. The EH Beast 11m- from what i can tell is the kite i am looking for (from their range)? I've no experience with the brand, so not too sure on how they hold up, build quality, etc. The Beast looks a little flatter (more bow like) compared to other hybrids, would this be fair to say? Cheers.
