Great to see we all have a sense of humour... I,m personally glad that I was aiming for the Noob Parents.... Not the qualified guy !!!! If anyone reads it wrong - Thats what the Finer Points are all about. Now there :-) we can all get back to teaching kids how to stack it on their bikes with trainering wheels & enjoy gravel rash on their nose, forehead & wee hands.

Thats what i meant on third line down... its the well meaning tryhard (unqualified) parent i was aiming at. If anyone is reading this and is thinking about it - a simple pre qualifying test should do nicely.... 1. Try teaching your partner 'How to read a road map' :-) 2. Now that your Divorced and the misses has taken the kids, Im sure they'll be safe now.. (lol) 3. That grin on your face says it all - Have fun & tell tall stories about how high you jumped instead. As allways - the well meaning efforts by copycat parents to teach their young "Always" ends up in injury through lack of attention to the 'finer details' that saves the lives of kiters everyday. Who missed the finer detail that its his job ??? knows it well !!! doesnt recomend it !!! The last time you saw a Noob kiter at the beach, it was probably a parent & kiter - now reading this.. Dont we recomend professional lessons anymore ? Lots of people are good at lots of things: few are any good at teaching it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On the bright side - at least you can knock their baby teeth out for them as their gonna fall out anyway ! Kids can be fun cant they :-)

Hey guys, have already read your leaflet answers... How about some in cm !!! Wakeboards give you all the measurements, and if it rocker doesnt matter that much - why are we not all riding on wakeboards with "progressive" rocker also ? (Cheaper too) Wait for it "oh but they have too much" Get my drift... some real answers - not a sales pitch to the ignorant. Please refer to Q.1 again. Thank you

And now for my unexiting question... 1. What is the average rocker for a kite board ? 2. Does a 3 stage rocker make much difference to a continueous ? 3. Does running Jellies over make me Enviromentally unfriendly ? Cheers A Day without ..... Is like Night

Hey all - was wondering what would be the best beginner kite size for the misses would be... shes 56kg, fit winges only when the wind seems to blow ? but controls KB finances (so shes best chick on earth lol). From the number of viewes on this topic, seems to be a general consensus that people would be a lot happier to have a more accurate way of reading the air pressure on their Kites... The 400 + cant be all new kite buyers - someones missing out on a $hare in the Market place...

Hey KOMA - you wrote..... I have noticed that the sigma shape flies better if it's pumped up to a higher pressure than i used to with my Ozone Instinct. Given i don't use a pressure gauge, the difference isn't much in the 'ping' pitch. It's just like it's one note up if you were to listen to it musically. I've always wondered why something couldn't be built into the main valve on the kite that when it was at the correct pressure it would turn green. Just like the tyre pressure valve stems available for push bikes and cars. That way you keep pumping until it turns green, all good.

Inflatables Ahh yes all your answers are valid too However... I have already taken these into account. Of course it is very COMMON knowledge about temprature expansion rates but you must have a starting point of reference for the variables... Jason - $1570 dollars sounds the same as $1500 if i'm a beginner ( lets call it Customer services,add it on) or if a pro wants Max performfance ! Somewhere in the middle are all the ones who dont really care as long as it launches - if so then why are people constantly upgrading to Better Performing kites ?????? Just like w/surfing - everything changed except the 'layman', sailors had to smarten up on rig tuning. It would be very interesting to hear replies from the top R & D guys - because we are all actually kiteing with what they have technically developed for US to have fun on ! I guess i must be one of those strange people who can go hardcore, have as much fun as you can with your pants on - and still sit quietly... in thought of ideas too help our sport.
