    Anyone know if there is any kitesurfing going on this area of Lanzarote and if there is where might it be as we are going there in November but space is limited to 15kgs luggage so can't take my kit so need to rent a kite, bar and board as well. Thanks Al

    Slingshot Rally 10m 2012 complete with bar, pump and bag. The kite has one 2mm repair, see picture on the farcebook link, other than that apart from some water stains its in very good condition. The bar is also in good condition, the pump is a little rusty around the gauge and the adapter is stuck into place which is good for a Slingshot kite but not so useful if you've got other makes of kite. Looking for £480 posted for the lot but I'm flexible about this. PM me with your number and I'll call you back. Pictures here

    Thats what the airlines are all saying, something tells me the flight it 4-6 hours but then I'll have to wait for the connecting flight which isn't going to happen.

    Well it might be out anyway as working out to be quite expensive. I read up on Famara Beach on Lanzarote, supposed to be quite hot even in December. Any thoughts anyone?

    Lo all Has anyone been there in December, read a few horror stories about people going out in huge swells in the summer but the wife and I plan to stay on the west of Boa Vista which has a huge lagoon (which is supposedly protected from the huge waves) but wanted to know what the wind would be like, should I take my course board or a TT, big or small kites? And more importantly has anyone taken big boards with Thomson and have they survived? Thanks in advance.

    Best Bularoo 13m / 10m is what started me off. Super stable, loads of de-power and impact resistant much more than just an LEI and easily within reach of your budget. Best Waroo 13m Kite Complete | eBay I've heard Vegas kites are hard work to begin with but a very good progressional kite if you want to make things hard for yourself but grow into it. Waroo's another popular choice of easy to fly kite, the oldest you want to go to is 2007 for anything you buy. Pretty much anything older will be way past it and need replacement items. Of course its all up to you in the end.

Link for a video too. Having watched the video though, you need to steer with your feet so this might be another problem to overcome and get even more expensive.

    What about modifying a scim board to take a fixed seat harness? I'll ask my local Slingshot rep if this is even possible. Btw, is the girl disabled from the waist down or chest down. Just wondering as this may effect how she will handle the board on the water. And the link above doesn't work.....

    Hi all I'm going to Guernsey for a weekend of fun and debauchery (hopefully this is how its spelt) but would like to go kitesurfing if i can. Anyone know if the winds are good there and where is a good (and reasonably safe) place to go flying. Cheers Al
