I tried using my kite (5m rad pro) on a bar (ozone 4 line control bar) yesterday for the first time. The steering is slower but didnt take long to get used to it, felt more in control using it and plan to stick with the bar now. Also found reverse launches a lot easier with it.

Reason is one of the best IMO for making the kind of music you want to. Pretty easy to get to grips with but so much you can do on it, been using it for 4 years an still learning new stuff about it.

I know i'm getting a bit ahead of myself as i dont have a kite let alone know how to fly one, but what would be a good first board (I weigh 8 and a half stone)? I've been looking at MBS Core 8's and most people seem to say good things about them. Are there any better boards for beginners that are about the same price or less and does anyone know of anyone who is selling a good beginners board? Thanks
