I had the 10m X Air for my first depower kite and loved it. The only reason I sold it was I lost my landboard flying sites and the water was my last option. As Wenglish said, very stable, low end grunt, nice pop and float. Turns very fast and the safety systems are very simple, effective, and easily re rigged. Quality and workmanship are outstanding. This is a kite you can learn and grow with.

Bego 600--power rings about 4 to 4.5 inches (to include the pulley or ring) Bego 400--3 to 3.5 inches Make sure you have a slight crease in the trailing edge (handles neutral) as well by adjusting your knots on the brake leaders. Awesome kites for sure! The 400 has an evil side in 25ish mph winds!

@210 lbs go for the 6.5. Ive owned a 4.9, sweet kite but the 6.5 is by far the best FB sail Ive owned. Im 185/90 lbs and my wind range is 6/7 knots nice pattern work and scuds, 8/9 knots rollin on hard sand (KGB) and 10/12 knots up its air time! About 20/21 knots is the biggest wind Ive flown her in but 14 to 18 knots is the sweet spot! A pic in 12 knot winds!
