G'day Duncan. I am a new beginner as well and will be in Sydney for the next week before moving back to Darwin. I am also looking for a good place to fly. I am staying in the sutherland area and have got most days free as I am on holidays! The places I have flown at so far are at Rooty Hill, Pioneer Park in Maroubra and Wanda park at Cronulla. The best so far was Wanda due to the excellent wind but there is not too much room to move and there are a few people there. Pioneer park had the most room but the day I went there the wind was average and its a long way to travel! Hope that helps a little bit.

Well I had a great time at wanda on sunday until I smashed a wheel hub. Went to kitepower today and got some alloy hubs instead of plastic so hopefully they are a bit stronger. Another job for tonight to put it all back together again. Anyway nice to meet you Troy and Don the other day. May have to catch up again soon. Glenn

When you say wanda you mean down at cronulla? Wanda isn't too far away for me. I will have a look at how far away Rooty Hills is. If you give us a time anyone is heading anywhere I can probably see if I can catch up. I warn you all that I am a beginner though! he he Cheers Glenn

Troy and anyone else. I am in Sydney for the next week and am looking for places to landboard. I am staying in sutherland at the moment. I am eager to get out and about any day this week. Don't know sydney to well but have a GPS so I can get around if required. This is my first post and I am pretty new to landboarding so lots of area is always better. Cheers Glenn
