Dell ones are good at the bottom end, but be prepared to buy some more RAM for it, they come underpowered. I got the Inspiron 1300 on offer for £300, with a £30 ram module from crucial, it runs brilliantly. The HD is only 40gb, but i have an external drive for all my music, as thats what it all goes on. Hmm, the correct diagnosis seems to be that your all using hotmail.. Known cure: Gmail, where smam filters actually work! If anyone wants an invite (its still in beta for some reason), just ask.

The folder icon is a bad sign, you need to use the service menu on the ipod: http://www.mdibb.net/misc/ipod_nano_diagnostics_menu/ then run a 'flash scan'

On my pc its just in the start menu, the icon is a spool with multicolour tape.

For my ICT A-Level we have to make a multimedia cd including video and sound material. I'm thinking i could make a 'cover cd' for a kite magazine . Does anyone have any videos that i could include? I'd give credit in the presentation, although it's unlikely anyone except the examiner will be looking at it. Otherwise, does anyone have any suggestion for great video's or anything else to include?
