Ive been flying my blade IV 4m for about a month now, geting on well with it, scudding and generally getting used to it.
It was reasonably windy today (not sure on the wind speed) but i think slightly stronger than ive ever taken it out before but i seemed to cope well.
I decided to try jumping, first i tried a pendulum jump which to start with went well, but as i jumped i got pulled in the direction of the kite quite fast, is this normal or was i just doing it wrong, taking the kite to the side, running that way and slightly back while turning the kite to go in the other direction then taking it up to the zenith, there was quite a lot of lift but i was unprepared for the jult in the direction the kite was going and let go and rolled on the floor (thank god for kite killers)
The second time i tried the other type of jump ive read about where i stand still, bring the kite in fast and then straight up and jumping when i feel the pull, this did take me quite high, a couple of metres maybe, i kept hold of the kite this time but didnt land on my feet and ended up skidding along the floor and geting a few grazes.
My probably at the moment seems to be landing on my feet so does anyone have any tips for doing this.
Thanks for any repsonses
