mines another vote for reason! cannot beat it when making music, there just so much you can do with it, more that you could even need! cubase is good, and a lot easier to understand, but then it is meant mre for its recording facilities rather than synths and midi. fuirty loops is a great little program to start on, cant go too wrong with it, and is a great laugh but if you plan going further once youve learnt the basics i would suggest reason.

ok brilliant, that would be perfect. i have just about finished the welding, and hope to have that done by the end of tomorrow. it will be painted up over the weekend, and hopefully ready to go by wednesday. i will get a picture up when its finished let ou see what it is, and then will be in contact as for meeting times ect. Cheers again, its a big help Peter

hi all, quick up date on the buggy. i have now got everything cut up, and half welded. i am hoping to have it all finished by the end of this week, and spray it up over the weekend, but if not it will be finished by next weekend at the latest. i shall give a full update when it is finished, but if any one can let me know if they are about and will be flying these weekends? i would much appreciate it, and there will be a bottle of wine or the like in it for the test pilot if you can let me know, Cheers Peter

hi, seat belt fitted? no it doesnt but is this an easy thing to do? or can one be easily moved from one buggy to another? Peter
-
surely you can earn that with a weekend job?

erm, i think i right in saying that if you only have the one user it will log on automatically, #if not or if you have the guest account on you will have to click on the user thing, i think that is it and theres no option for logging in automatically if this is the case itll all be done under the usrs in control pannel, my guess is that guest is on, switch that off and i think you should be sorted

get a differnt job? how long is it till wallop??

hi all, quick update i have started making, and hope to have it all finished in a couple of weeks, nows the bit thats you have been waiting for, i will be needing some one, or some people to test it, i should be able to get to a field on request, will just need to be told where, but as the project needs the product to be tested, and my buggying skills are next to non existant, i think it may be an idea to hand it over to you lot at the moment i have made the suspension units, and they havent come out to heavy, if some one or people can let me know if theyd be able to test it id appreciate it Cheers Peter

see even morb's genius idea has a purpose those poor glovless in the winter have been there my self!! but what exactly is the advantage to sitting sideways on a bike, surely it cant be very comfortable and on top of that, it must bloody hurt ur kneck having to turn all the time to see where your going!
-
simplist sauce of all, bit of garlic or garlic pure, and mayonnaise goes with just about anything and is bloody tasty if not you could always have made sum mushroomy garlic gavy thing?
-
hi, no it is for a peter lyn buggy but yes the same idea applies with the angle on the fixing tubes. i have taken this into account it was just alot easier in cad to draw them at a 90 degree angle. cheers for the comments and keep them coming Peter
-
hi all, just a quick update, i have decided to go with the independant suspension.again used cad for drawings, i have taken wiggi's advice, and send a couple of pm's around, any one else want the pictures please ask as the more comments i get the better it will be! cheers for all the help Peter

hi, Cheers for the comments, i did do reasearch into the suspension and as far as i could see it would be better to have individual, but then also thinking of the work load and complexity, fell back to a solid rear axle, as for the second design it is jsut a quick demonstational paint bodge up, and meant mearly to show the idea, as was the other, the project is mainly just to practise work, but also the underlining idea is that we solve the problem best we can, so individual would be best i will keep you informed, and keep firing designs your way if thats alrite, as this is a handy way of getting peoples opinions who may look at buying a buggy of the like, cheersf or the help again Peter
-
hi, cheers for both the comments, i do agree that independant suspension would be much better but am worried about over complicating it, because of the short time limit we have. also i wasnt sure on increasing twisting with independant, but have come up with a quick re think after suggestions of indepents and thinking i could adapt the current design pretty simply, so as not increasing the work load much if at all http://img318.imageshack.us/img318/2338/finished629dg.jpg

hi all, as some of you may remember, i was asking fro advice on buggys, as i was planning on making one with suspension for my A2 DT project. well all has now been started and the desining has begun, i will attach some quick CAD pictures of what i am thinking as the design and any feedback, good or bad would be appreciated, i will be fitting it onto the back of a buggy the same as a normal rear axle would be and in a couple of months time will want it testing?? cheers for any help/comments Peter http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/3434/finished64hm.jpg http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/7922/finished11en.jpg http://community.flexifoil.com/%5BURL=http://imageshack.us%5D%5BIMG%5Dhttp://img405.imageshack.us/img405/7922/finished11en.jpg%5B/IMG%5D%5B/URL%5D

hmmmm, are all the collage networks on a network? i know that ours are and all work is backed up and kept for 2 weeks i think it is? so if youd saved it on collage computers at all there may be a chance of getting it? if its just the usb, i dont think theres much chance, so looks like so good old over night work Peter

hi all, i am back, and am now finishing off the designing of the buggy for alevel. what i am asking now is, do you know what would be best for the suspension? a solid rear axel or indepent pivots on each wheel? i have a couple of designs for each, but cant decide which way to go, the main idea was that it was a freestyle buggy with suspension, which is what initial made me think of the solid rear axle over indipendent, because this would stop some of the twisting i guessed? any comments welcomed, Cheers Peter

hi all, im back again! rite this time im looking for a client interview. i have decided to go with the suspension idea, but will more that likely be converting a flexi buggy! i now think that i will use torsion suspension, like on morris minors, as this will add hardly any weight and is quite complicated, so adding marks what im looking for now in the client interview is someone to comment on all parts of the project from here on, mainly throughout the designing. i will also just need someones general comments on the idea above, what they think of it, any problems they can see with adding suspension, any thing that it must withstad or be able to do to work as a buggy and that kind of thing, just giving a detailed talk about that idea. i would appreciate it if some one would be able to do that, and of course like said above, i will bring it down to coldhams when made for you all to try out. Cheers Peter
