Can you use one flexifoil kite killer as a strop? If you were to take the wrist strap off the elastic? Would it be strong enough? Its just that I have a few spare kite killers that I could dismantle! I have seen elastic looking strops on the net and they look just like the kite killers. If its possible or if someone uses this set up, let me know. p.s it would be used on a blade IV 4.9 Thanks:)

I turned up at the Nova last nyte but cuz of the rain I didnt bother taking the kite out! I did see a few cars at the end of the carpark with gear out but you had a bbq and then did one. lol Well anyways hopefully nxt time you guys go down the rain will stay off and then I can come over and introduce myself. I didnt really wanna come over and crash the gathering when i don't know any1. Catch ya soon

No offence but i just wanna know the difference between man flying and tethered flying. I understand that it is dangerous from previous posts but want to know what the 2 disciplines are!

I would say that you will love the 4.9 blade. I have a 4.9 blade IV and I have loved every minuite with it. I love to jump and can get easily 15-20ft airs in winds of about 12-25mph. I way about 14 stone and if you get the technique dialed with the 4.9m you can develop nice lift with floaty landings. Just be prepared for some nasty falls when gettin the technique right. If getting hurt is a fear of getting high then invest in some safety equipment, as the blade can be knarly. Wearing the equipment might give you the extra confidence to go big with your air. Hi I have read a post with people giving their views on the subject but its hard to understand when I don't know what either is? I am not looking for views on whether or not it is dangerous but just for someone to explain both tethered and man flying to me please! Thankyou!
