I think you will find the new PL + is diferent it has a new thicker down tube.
The standard older PL has two types of down tubes 460mm long is standard and has 6 holes. The extended one is 560mm long and that has 6 holes.
The newer Pl + has 32mm side rails instead of 25mm and thicker down tube.
so that will probably be why you have the 8 hole type and adverts show the (older ) 6 hole type.
Here is the new add for it.
In response to the new demands of buggying - like buggy jumping, heavier riders, and faster speeds, the Peter Lynn Comp buggy has been completely revamped, and this new version (Mark II) incorporates stronger axles, heavier side frames, stronger down tube, standardization of the front forks, and 20mm rear axle bolts. While the buggy has increased in price; the improvements are outstanding, and will put to rest any rumors about the durability of Peter Lynn buggies.
New Features:
- Hand made in New Zealand
- Thicker tubes (32mm) mean much stronger connections on all areas of the buggy.
- All wheels supplied with this buggy now have 20mm Bearings
- Choose from several configurations and options when buying
- New HD curved footpegs
