  4. Hi Yeti Great photos and pics, but why do you get the purple flair on the video on the top left hand side?
  5. Those fittings are cast Brass alloy and will bend and twist. There mostly use for decrotive and low loads on boats. If you get a slight twist in them they will also bend more.
  6. Thanks biff and karve. i sussed out most of it but could not work out the extra knot on the bridle near the pully. Its a great kite so stable, but thinking i should:D have got a 15 instead of a 12 because of the depower and i could then use it in lower winds as well
  7. Can anybody put any ideas into the tunning sdjustments for the FF Atom 12m. What happens when you move the back pigtails forward ? What happens when you move the front ones further to the back ? Also on the front there are 2 knot settings on the bridle line before the pully any ideas what that does? Thanks
  8. Biff might be a good idea to get some travel insurance. Just incase. You might need to get an exstension to your visa as well its warm and sunny. Even melbourne water will be like 16 -17 c perth is warmer.
  9. Biff Dont worry about the jelly fish in Melbourne and Perth. There out in Queensland this time of year. But the rashie might be a good idea to keep the sun off. 9m Atom will probably be fine in perth but a bit light on for melbourne unless its howling. Perth this time of year gets seabreezes about 20 -25 knts.
  10. Go for a 12m Atom will give you a better wind range. should start at about 12 knts.
  11. Soap solution,(water and dishwashing liqued) run it all around the rim and tyre then blast of air into tyre. That should help it seat.
  12. I think you will find the new PL + is diferent it has a new thicker down tube. The standard older PL has two types of down tubes 460mm long is standard and has 6 holes. The extended one is 560mm long and that has 6 holes. The newer Pl + has 32mm side rails instead of 25mm and thicker down tube. so that will probably be why you have the 8 hole type and adverts show the (older ) 6 hole type. Here is the new add for it. In response to the new demands of buggying - like buggy jumping, heavier riders, and faster speeds, the Peter Lynn Comp buggy has been completely revamped, and this new version (Mark II) incorporates stronger axles, heavier side frames, stronger down tube, standardization of the front forks, and 20mm rear axle bolts. While the buggy has increased in price; the improvements are outstanding, and will put to rest any rumors about the durability of Peter Lynn buggies. New Features: - Hand made in New Zealand - Thicker tubes (32mm) mean much stronger connections on all areas of the buggy. - All wheels supplied with this buggy now have 20mm Bearings - Choose from several configurations and options when buying - New HD curved footpegs
  13. I use this very cool and amazing FREE gps speed sailing software for my kiting activities. GpsActionReplay http://gpsactionreplay.free.fr/. Check it out. GpsAR is a software that enables replays and performance analysis from GPS data. It's a Java application that can be run on any system (including Windows, Linux, Mac), and on any Web browser within an applet (the Java Plug-In must be installed). Thanks for that
  14. Has anyone got any links to software. To link a GPS to a laptop thanks
