  1. Used but still in very good condition. Lines, handles and bag included. Ideal entry level buy or high wind power kite. £180 ono PM for photos or more details.
  2. Blade every time!!!!! Although the older blades steer like cows but pull like trains. You won't get any lift from a rage unless you're out in a hurricane so base decision from there. Watch out for the 4.9 blades though. They eat people. They pretend to be all nice and friendly like a small kite. Then they eat you. Guy I bought my blade II off broke a leg with a 4.9. (Point and laugh at Jacko if you get the chance!)
  3. Oh yes! It's that little bit of the time where your blade lets you know it can kill you without any hesitation...... Broken arm for example....
  4. Haven't been associated with them for quite some time but it was John (the owner) who first got me started. Really helpful and friendly guys and a really good scene round there in general. Can't help you with the details but I'd say it was worth it. £5 is hardly a lot of money.
  5. Ouch.... I had intended the thread to be a little more light hearted....Bet hey! I had a good one snapping my radius after falling from a great height. Boarders tend to have less problems with collisions.
  6. I seem to always be the one to start these kind of threads. This could be because I'm more of a wimp about my injuries or just that I like gory stories. But mainly it's because I bailed a 360 and ended up spinning on my arse for several metres and am now missing lots of skin..... So how about some of the best injuries this season?
  7. Sounds similar to an ammusing incident I had on Southsea common. Sliding round on a transition when this very small terrier comes belting towards me. And it was very small so my first thought was "This dog is gonna make a mess on my front axle when I squash it". But turns out it wasn't going to be squashed. It only jumped and sank it's teeth into my knee pad and clung there till I could shake it off. No apology from the owner at all. Since then I try extra hard to squash small dogs.
  8. The 4.9 scares me ****less..... All the speed of a small kite, combined with all the power and death dealing ability of a big kite. Although I love my mkII 7.8. Turns like a cow. Pulls like a train.
  9. I got a load of freebies when I had my blade repaired so nyeeea!!
  10. Sounds like fun. You might find the sting a little overpowered. I recomend a bedsheet.
  11. I'm intrigued. Please could you send some more pics to hawkscry@hotmail.com (they don't display very well on here) and could you also tell me how much it weighs? Cheers
  12. PM sent!
  13. The LEI is really free? What's the catch?
  14. I do so hate ecological stats. Although from what you've said it makes my A2 chi squared ******** seem so much nicer. Have fun
  15. When you go kiteboarding with your arm in a cast (having had your blade break it) a few hours after the doctor told you specifically not to.....
