  1. From PKD
  2. Cheers, have sent an email.. its only a matter of time before mine snap again
  3. The "manual" is also available for download on their website now too. Interested that you got the cleats, are they significantly better ? Did you have to pay for them and do you have contact details of the PKD rep ? http://wartung.business.co.at/kunden/Paracontrol/images/Buster%20II%20User%20Manual.pdf
  4. I have one too (since Xmas) I've flown it twice First time it didn't even leave the ground before destroying the tail rotor Second time it got to about 8 foot before flying into the ground and destroying all the blades I put it back in the box and decided to stick to driving
  5. Cheers, makes sense.. will try that next time although keeping it in the power zone that long sounds like I need more spinach
  6. Where is that ? Though to be honest by the time we'd fought our way through the worlds largest caravan site after making a wrong turn we'd almost got to the point of trying to launch the kite through the sunroof We saw the perfect beach the other side of Ogmore river but aside from a 100 mile hike or getting wet across the river itself couldn't work out how to get there ?
  7. Yup the same, but very curved.. how do you get it to pull you squarely or can't you ?
  8. After avoiding snapping ankles on fields it was a welcome relief to actually get onto a nice sandy beach at last ! Probably not the best beaches in the area but a visit to friends in Cardiff resulted in trips to Trecco Bay (which was a bit narrow really !) and the harbour part of Barry Island (which was amazing until the tide came back ). Job to say how windy it was but white tops to the waves would suggest 10-15mph ish (?) which is the windiest I've flown in so far.. was soon scudding 30 feet or so across the sands and only had to give in when arms were about to fall off I really hate to think what a bigger kite is like as the 3m Buster2 was a real handful and wouldn't of taken much effort for it to pick you up and dump you down hard. One thing I couldn't get the hang of was getting the kite to pull you squarely, every scud across the beach was mainly an arc and not a straight pull
  9. Can you let me know how you get on, I'm still waiting for replacements from the kiteshop I got the Buster2 from
  10. Broke mine the first time I used it, luckily they provide a spare and the kite shop I got it from said that they'd send me some more. I put it down to me being a little heavy handed trying to adjust the brake line - in the end I just tied a knot where I wanted the line to end in the cleat and left it like that (probably totally the wrong thing to do)
  11. Tried AutoTrader/Top Marques & car related websites but still nothing. eBay seems only any good for low priced "bargains"... anyone had any joy with anywhere else ? Dealers are offering stupidly low money
