  1. Thanks for all the advice and suggestions.
  2. Thanks for that. Ideally, I'd like to use the beaches on the Lake District side of the water. Anything over that way?
  3. Which spot just got the ban?
  4. Off on a family holiday in a couple of weeks time to a Haven park near Morcombe Bay. Turns out it's right by the shore and I'm hoping I can take the buggy and kites along so it's not just the kids having fun while we're away. Any one know if these beaches are suitable and if there are any restrictions? Cheers!
  5. Very nice. I'm jealous.
  6. where are you?
  7. Thanks for the info guys. I've not done 180s either. I've just been content cruising back and forwards with at best, power turns/slides at the end of each run. I like the sounds of trying out 180s now too.
  8. I've been buggying for a year now and am fairly good - if I'm going forwards. When I try to buggy backwards, I completly loose it. Steering goes out the window and before I know it, I'm all over the place and the kite is crashing to the ground. Any hints/tips on the best way to learn going backwards? Any vids out there?
  9. Guess he'd a size to scale up to - like width at widest point (or something)
  10. @Naked Kite - Thanks for the info and suggestion. I didn't know about the Cult and I like the sounds of the 4.5m size. I'm off to do some research now @1066 - Thanks for the offer. May just give you a shout.
  11. Guess it comes down to trust in a brand. Flexi.. and Ozone are widely regarded as a couple of the best manufacturers. Having never flown either brand, I'd love to buy one and see what all the hype is about. I'd be just as happy with an Ozone kite by the way - but am not really up to speed with which of their kites (past and present) are good for buggying on handles.
  12. Thanks guys. I'd like to try something a little different so am tempted towards getting a Broozer at the moment. Would love to get a Rage or Blurr but am on a tight budget.
  13. Any advice? As you can see in my signature, most of my kites were bought on a budget so am looking for a nice kite that will fit in between the 3m and 6m. From the kites I use at the moment, I really like the Buster and am tempted to get a 4m or 5m version of that. What do you think? It will only really be used for simple buggying.
  14. nice work wee man. just think how good he'll be in a couple of years!
