  1. Going myself in March - waiting for register on the below forum, loads of info on flying spots. http://www.kiteforum.co.nz/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=4 http://www.kitesports.co.nz/ Ziggi from this forum has just left for six months over there so will try to relay some info on here. Mind you I would be looking at land based stuff more, although may take up some wet lessons in Melbourne (if any one knows of good school there?)
  2. A few of us from Plymouth are coming down, will ask cooky:)
  3. With you on that. All the bloody spares are £££££ - go the primo route with the wheels and save yourself some cash.

Have the same inside diameter as most skates (accept the 12mm scrubs) so should be fine.
  5. I don't have a huge experience, but riding for a year and a half on matrix lites mostly on sand and they were knackered. Needed so many replacements you could have bought two sets of skates! If you are mainly grass then this probably won't be an issue. If you really want matrix the lites aren't really worth the extra for a few drilled bits IMHO (80grams each, whoo hoo!). I have swapped to Vectors, like them a lot, but only had two sessions on them so far.
  6. Local pickup (Plymouth) could get this nice and cheap! PM me
  7. Nice kite this - at a stonking price!
  8. Cheers peter - how is the Gin? Managed to use it on the snow too?
