Selling along with Ozone Instinct Light II 7m (see separate thread) to make way for new C4. Atom 08 9m. Full kite with bar and lines £250. Has one small cut (about 2cm) on canopy near leading edge which I did just after getting it new in 2008. Patched with tape and has been fine since (see pics).

This kite is in exceptional condition. Bought for the missus to learn with, which she never did so it has only been flown a few times by me. Unfortunately I have a newer Instinct Sport+ 7m so don't need two 7's. Great condition bargain kite for somebody. I also have a spare 5 line set of ozone lines which will be thrown in as I have no further need for them.

Try Otterbox.com Got one for a nano and it is waterproof, drop proof etc. First saw it on the gadget show. They do all sorts of cases for ipods, iphones and pda's so might have something to fit what you need.

Just sold my old 06 11m with upgrade to 07 safety. I'm about your weight and found it fine from about 15 mph. I did have Druncan's old 06 13m for a while and just found that it wouldn't fly at 15 mph because it was too heavy and slow to respond. Once it got to 18 mph it was just about flying Ok but I was almost immediately over powered. Never had any problem with the 11m which I used up to about 30 mph until I got a 9m. I reckon the 13m is for bigger folk in a slightly stronger wind. Stick with the 11m. I've just repaced mine with a new 11m Sport +.

I've the standard GoPro, not the HD, so not sure if what I'm saying will apply to the HD or not. On thestandard GoPro it is possible to thread a thin cord or kite line between the case and the large black clip that keeps the case closed and basically tie that off in a loop and use that as a leash for the camera. OK there is always the potential that the clip could come undone but it is probably worth trying.

Another thought. If your going for a light wind kite, why not just get an 8.5 Blade (the best of all the blades IMO) and be done with it.

What about the salt air your breathing in as well? Does the increase the risk and intake? Probably worse for you out on Tiree Drunc as the salt air will be all over the island!

Hi Drunc I'm still using my 06 11m and have had no bother though I do as Mark & Maggie suggest and hose off the bar and lines after every session. Have had a couple of close calls though when a full flagout safety would have been useful. Think it might be time to upgrade to this kit. Just got a 9m Atom08 and was out for the first time on that at Budle this weekend. Was well impressed. Reckon it handles the gusts better then the Instinct. Gotta get some more practice in for when we come up to yours at end of May. Can you order me some decent wind for the next few week please. Cheers
