Hi I bought an 07 ozone instinct sport from kitepower about a yr ago and am having some issues, first i am finding build quality isnt as good as people are saying it is bacause all my friends kites that were bought about the same time and had about the same amount of use and where basically looked after the same were in much better condition than mine, eg. my lines stretched more and are more worn, one pump valve needed replacing as it had a hole, and it is generally more worn. Also i have just broken my bar... i am lead to believe this shouldnt be possible in the conditions i was using them and that the bar should be the last thing to brake (will discribe later) i am wondering if it is possible to fix or if its worth just getting a new kite, but then i would have to sell... Instance that caused my bar to break... I came in from kiting and tried to self land my kite (which isnt my strongest point and works on a 50-50 basis) so just before landing it takes off again and i throw the lines out so they wont tangle around the bar, but they did so i hold on as the kite whipps across the window and just before it crashes one end of the bar (the right tip) popps out of the socket? (it appears to be of this design) so i manage to land the kite using the front lines and well basically my bar war broken. i took a look at it and it appears that all that need to be done is removal of the old glue and reglueing it together... i'm kinda pissed because well kites are expensive and well it shouldnt be this problematic, i think im going back to cabrinha as they seem alot better build wise, its a pity cause i do like the speed of the ozones

I was planning on it... i was really asking if you think i need one or if i'ld be fine with the old one. I've been kiting since mid Jan, so intermediate probs, um i like wake but i wanna try the other styles 2, i like 20 - 30 knots but mostly the wind is around 15-25 in the summer, bow or hybrid, i like the pressure on the switchy 2/3. i weight about 65kg and am 175sm tall. Wondering if i should get a new kite for 09 and if so what sort? I got an ozone 07 instinct sport 9m currently, its in pretty much new condition with the only wear on the bar depower line. i find the bar pressure 2 light, and it a bit to unstable (i figure this is due to the light bar pressure and me not being able to "feel the kite"). i got it at the start of this year. I let out the steering lines to the max length and it flew beautifully!

should i let them out then or just leave them on the factory settings? the kite needs me to rotate the bar about 80 degrees before itl turn quickly is that just my high speed needs or should i power on more or...?

kool sounds like i need to put this into play... what are all the tweaking options on the ozone bar? theres the depower strap which is pretty self explanatory but then there are the steering lines that can be tweaked whats that all about? I keep hearing about bar mods? like I saw one of the replacement of the depower material from the hose pipe to the cabrina material on this site is that some thing to look into?

also are the back lines meant to look slack?

It front stalls whenever im flying over head and it backstalls when im moving it into position to sine (the swoopy thing to start if im using the wrong terminology) but it never just randomly falls - it only falls out of the sky when it front stalls

ok kool. what about all the tuning optioins? yeah when i get up and going on it its awesome, and its really lofty even when i just try small jumps

i learnt on a switchy 2 so im used to feed back on the bar, the trim straps on the steering lines (the red and blue ones)? are set to factory settings, the white markings I'm confused 2 is there anyone i can ask, consult around Hampton about it?

is there a way i can get bar pressure also?

no tangle in the 5th line but the rear lines look abit loose, but there at the factory setting on the white sewn on lines on the bar

I bought an 9m ozone instinct sport and i find that it keeps stalling on me and I don't know were the power on the kite is when i pull the depower strap I fly in about 17-25 knots and it falls out of the sky and doesn't respond well to my inputs unless there really drastic movements on the bar... WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!!! every one says this kite is awesome and i cant use it properly!

mine keeps stalling what am i doing wrong?!?
