Sorry if I have upset you but what is edbrown doing on here (reading forums ) I was just passing on info I have been told, I was in the same boat a while back & was put off. Going by the posters age he is only young & to pay out that type of money for a kite it would be best to try it first ,Don't you think this is the best advice ?

At the end of the day they are not cheap kites hence the homework I did before hand, the last thing I wanted to do is pay out £300 plus to try out a Kite that I didn't get on with, But as I said I haven't actually flown a Bego !

Not saying either, Best to have a go of both before you buy, see what suits you best.

Now thats weird, I just looked on the for sale & someone is selling a Bego 600 or swap for a Blade 6.6.

I had it in the back of my mind for ages that I would like to get a Bego because of the great reviews & low wind performance, it nearly got to the stage where I got a Blade 6.6 & hadn't even flown it & part xing for Bego 600 ! But then I started doing more homework & found that they can be hard work to set up correctly,takes a while to learn to fly it well & its best to let the shop set it up for you, this put me off because I have always had no problems setting up any of my kites & couldn't see how it would be so hard to set up, I also got put off by people who had sold them secondhand said "they are a boring kite !" Don't get me wrong here, no doubt the Bego is a great kite plus I have never flown one so I can't comment on experience,which brings a better meaning try before you buy (Maybe best to contact a member from here or other forums before you go ahead & see if you can have a go of there Bego), but In my case I have no idea of anywhere local thats stocks Mac Begos. But in the Begos defence I was told by an ex Bego owner " If you want a Rolls Royce get a Bego, if you want a Ferrari get a Blade.

I say Jazz too !!!, I have 3 VWs, I would only buy German cars because I have never really had any bother with them.

I agree, Like in the vid "NICE" !!!!

I would rather someone come & pick it up, less hassle. But some people hide behind there PCs & have no contact with a buyer, I suppose in there eyes its less hassle for them.
