Has anyone got any mad stories?

I would not go out in more than 15mph. Just want to hear some storys of nutty people!

Hi, I have a blade III 6.6m, which I will only take out in 15mph winds or below. What is the highest wind speed that anyone has gone out in with this kite? I would like to hear some storys!

I will get someone to take some pictures of me and my mates. 10ft jumps easy....

I took my blade out in about 10mph winds the other day. It was OK. It did not take me up to much. I like the power & jumping high.

So because I have only flew Traction Kites for about 3 months. I don't understand the dangers!!! I am not going to take my Blade III out in any more than 15mph winds, until I am a expert flyer. Even then I would not go out in much more than that.

Does anyone fly at the CrabTree in Basingstoke? Good place to fly a traction kite. Massive land & good hill.

jules_b , Thanks for your post. I think I will use my kite for about a month before I try landboarding with it. When I get my Bullet 3.5 soon, I will start learning how to landboard. When I am good at that, then i might try it with my Blade III. Thanks again for your post. Most people just moan about my kite being to big.

Hi, Can someone tell me if I need a Contol Bar to Landboard or can I use my 4 line handles?

To do tricks on a Landboard, do you need a control bar on your kite or would handles do?

Anyway, as anyone got any links to a site which may teach me how to do any tricks please....

Thanks for your comments. I am getting a bullet 3.5 soon for the stronger winds. Maybee I was not in the air for 10 seconds as I did not start my stop watch, but I can tell you that I did go about 10ft in the air. As I took my kite from about 9 0' clock to the top of the window the kite pulled my up off my feet and I flew up in about 3 stages as the wind was gusting & gusting. When I landed it pulled me across the whole field which is quite big.

Been flying my brothers PKD 5.5m for about 3 months. I think the blade III 6.6m is more fun:)

Just got my first kite. A flexifoil Blade III 6.6m. Been out on it 3 times. The wind on Friday was about 15mph. This kite is mad. It took me off the floor about 10ft high. Must have been in the air for about 10 seconds which felt like a life time. Did not know flying a kite could be so much fun. I am getting good at jumps and flying the kite. Has anyone got any instructions on doing any tricks?
