    Finally

After 4 months off from Kitesurfing and boarding, due to a full right ear reconstruction (i bailed and got dragged under a set of seriously powerfull rollers). i'm allowed back on the water in 2 weeks..... where's the damn kites i hid to stop the itch?? Already planned a road trip down to devon in october, where are your favourite spots?
  3. i'm in two minds, kudos to the guy for doing this. However it was a irresponsible act of selfishness. If he went a few hours ealier as previously mentioned, informed the coast guard ect. There would have been a smoother easier crossing. Surely the guy in himself would have felt at ease and more in his comfort zone knowing he had backup just within arms reach. however in the spur of the moment, even minimal precautions could have taken place for example knowing where to land, what time you would phone your friends at. However nice trip... wish i could try it someday.
  4. Whilst at work today, i placed my phone in the provided "secure" locker. Some ********er has gone and half inched the phone. Not very happy Lost all the contacts and everything.

    5th line kit

Just received the 5th line kit. Will post some photo's at some point before tomorrow evening. It should work, i have just put the 5th through wherever the bypass rope went, led it up to the kite and left it removed from the depower strap. I'll give it ago in some light winds first off but from what i can see it will work just fine.

    5th line kit

The four line just never seems to depower properly so, the 5th i'm hoping is going to be a much better re-ride. I've always felt comfy on the 5th line re-ride on my octane, so i thought i'd make the move. Just need some advice really.
  8. Just purchased a 5th dimention kite for my jekyll 8m, just wondering if anyone has any experience re-rigging the re-ride and if you could give some advice on how to do it. The only reason for doing this i don't feel that safe on a four line safety when riding powered. Cheers in advance.
  9. oh, it is a strange sport. Weird men in the air with giant skateboards, attached to parachutes *EDIT* just been looking up on brean's reputation on camping. The most common word used was chavs. I'm after peacefull week not a punch up, if i wanted that i'd stay at home. As a frequent camper, (every year since i can remember) i am rather snobby on a campsites standards.
  10. yer, i already am a member hence i was thinking about going.
  11. Brean, Weston or Hayle the decision to be made. Been to Hayle a few years ago and it was awesome wind and surf, went to weston last year and it had the best of both worlds, kiteboard when i can't kite surf. Brean is pretty much the same as weston from what i remember, i did visit it once. I believe a trip to cornwall may be more fun.
  12. Looking to go to Weston supermare for a week in the summer, recommend me somewhere. Must have:- Be a maximum of 1/2 hour outside of weston Tents. Must accept non- camping and caravaning members A bar - or one nearby for a evening drink CLEAN!!As i'm staying by myself there is no worry about the campsite taking a group of males and females. Come on fireaway, alot of places seem to have bad reviews.
  13. depends, been abroad anywhere recently? or it may have just been because the cards expiry date may have been the 01/09 we had that alot at work yesterday.
  14. where ever the sun rises and sets, and that kite hasn't touched the ground all day. Thats the home of british kiting!!
