There definatley are, I used to live just down the road in Farnham (whilst at uni), most of the locals kite at Queens Parade in Aldershot. Not sure about Guilford itself though.

nah it is not bad at all, it is well respected in the world of art and design and the lecturers are generally top notch. i had a great 3 years there, admitidly the town itself is pretty sleepy and the student union is pretty pants, but there are enough pubs to keep you going. (F.U.C.C.A isn't a reflection on the university, it is just an unfortunate acronym of Farnham University College of Creative Arts.) What course are you doing? edit: i see you are doing photography, one of my housemates did that course and spoke very highly of it.

i just finished doing a degree in farnham (at the university college of creative arts, thats F.U.C.C.A), your local site is queens parade in aldershot, it is a 5 minute train ride followed by a 30 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride (sometimes they can be a bit funny about letting you on the bus with all your kit and board). it's a good site tho, can be a bit gusty at times mind. there is pretty much nothing in farnham itself, although there is some reosnably good downhill mountainboading to be done in farnham park.

Queens Parade in aldershot is only about 15 mins from guilford. Haven't been there for ages as have moved away from the area, but last time i was there boarding, buggying etc was allowed.
