    Hi all, firstly thanks to everyone who came down to West Beach today including competitors, spectators, and supporters. Despite some variable (putting it mildly) wind conditions all divisions hit the water hard and it was a great effort by all. results will be announced at a later date, but the plan for tomorrowis to move the venue to the Chicken Shop at West Lakes Shores. Basically if you drive up past west lakes on Military Rd look for the Chinese Rest on your left and pull into the carpark. The format will be announced pending wind conditions, but BOM is saying 20knots at outer harbour by 3pm. the plan is meet at chicken shop at 1pm if you cant make the arvo session, there will be an after event casual food and drinks meeting at the West Beach SLSC at 6pm. hope to see everyone there

    snowed on sunday so monday was fun on the mountain. tues windy with marginal vis, wed blowing a gale. and they shut the mountain cause of high winds thurs fri so the kites did not see much use. good to get back on the snowboard though.

    should be fun - i just stocked up on beer. we will be arriving sometime sunday morning after picking up boards at bright. can anyone give me any advice as to board lenght for snow kiting. i have a bit of snowboarding experience, should i just go for my normal board lenght or do i need something different when using a kite???

    yeah was good to get in the water day after day, even if pulling on a damp freezing wetty caused some temporary complaints. probably good practice for the snow anyway.....
