The other half managed to get 2 pre-release tickets for the Verve today via See tickets:cool: . She got a conformation e-mail from them with a reference number and the details of the gig in Glasgow.

Off she went to the Bmi website and booked 2 return flights from East Midlands Airport to Glasgow Airport costing over £100.

All hunky dory:D

Hour and a half later, she gets another e-mail from See Tickets saying that they were unable to obtain payment and that the tickets for the concert have been cancelled.

More than enough funds were in the account, the right details were given i.e. numbers dates etc and we have used this account many times before with them when we've booked other gigs.

We are now left with 2 flights to Glasgow and it looks like they are none returnable

Are only last hope is to try and get tickets again when they go on general release tomorrow.

Any one else been screwed by to$$ers??

I know that they cocked up a lot of the Glastonbury camper van tickets as well. We were lucky enough to get in, even though the main camping area ticket was not sent.

As you may gather I'm a bit f!_!cked off:mad:

They were fine when I bought tickets to see a sold out Faithless gig from them.

It was with trepidation that I bought them though, they really don't have a very good press...

As always, a bit of googling around about the company that your going to be spending serious money with/because of is usually a very good idea.

Never had a real problem with them before today (and Glasto). We've been to loads of gigs and had to use them to obtain the tickets. It's just the fact that this is a comeback gig by The Verve and I would have loved to be there.

Guess we'll just have a weekend in Glasgow:(

Have 2 tickets booked with them for Scissor Sisters at the O2 arean later this month, booked way back in Feb, but still no sign of the actual tickets as yet, but loads of emails confirming booking etc, they had better arrive by the end of next week, or like you I'll be hacked off too

Its usually the way, make sure you phone them if you haven't got the tickets by a week before the event. The couriers they use are pretty anal about who can sign for the tickets as well, so watch out for that...

its possible that your credit card was refused because the bank thought it was a suspicious (sp?) transaction, when i was buying my ticket for reading festival the advice was to ring your bank to ensure this didn't happen

UPDATE.....

As of this morning at 9:00 am the mrs managed to book 2 lots of 2 tickets off the general ticket sales. Using two different addresses and two different credit cards, and we've got two conformations (fingers crossed) of these tickets. If we end up with 4 tickets, 2 will be sold for face value to a mate and his other half. Worse case, they'll be posted on scarlet mist which is a site set up to stop touting.

@Mikerb... call the "ticket hotline" just to check. This company....well
