Most people will give you advice but you'll need to post your weight and kiting ability. I'm looking at a Flysurfer Spleene Rip Plus 138*44 large volume to learn on but short enough to progress on.

Would say an Ocean Rodeo Legend, excellent starter board. built tough, u will get going on it very easily. its 142x36.5 but i know alot of people who have used these as their first board and say it was incredable to learn on. have a look on Ebay for them, mate of mine just got one off ebay cnt remember how much he paid for it but want too much. unfortunatly discontinued so you cant get a brand new one. hope it helps

had my first water sesh in Portugal this year on one of these and was up and goingh on my 3rd waterstart attempt and I am 14 stone. Charliesurf on the TK forum has an OR Outlaw for sale brand new (basically the same board) for a very resonable price.
