help with extreme bar

just got me one of these not quite sure how to set up the brake lines its got a strap at the end of the brake lines with velcro and a metal ring wot does this do ?

Attach the brakes, launch the kite, if there is too much brake, loosen the strap. If there is too little brake, tighten it up. Simple.

yer iv worked that out mate its just on the very end of the brake lines (its just tied on so not sure if its supposed to be there?) there is a kinda small strap with a d ring its not adjustable or anything??

You should have a chicken loop that folds through that. Here is a picture of mine:

if you look on the picture of the bar at extremekiteshop.com its the part that is sepeate to the bar on the left side of the pic its like astrap with a velcro bit and a red tag?

thats the bit sad pander is it just another type of attachment?

I think it's the bit that secures the chicken loop onto the bar. (Donkey's Dick or something)

i would use them and then you can put the leesh where it is ment to go.so when it is there you can spin the bar. but if you dont use the donkey dick when you pull the saftey, the loop will come off so the leesh will be off aswell. you dont want that or your kite will be gone unless you can catch up with it. but if you dont want it the leesh needs to go somewhere but that means you cant spin the bar or the leesh will get tangled aswell!!!

But if your chicken loop is attached to your harness at all times how would one go toe side without putting on massive breaks?
