ah so u did. think i did get a bit of you buggying.

im just glad that chris was too busy to film me when i landed my frenzy on darren from the herts lots head on the sunday. the wind went and the kite would not respond. it came down really gently...straight onto darrens head while he was taking photos. they were all winding me up.

wish I was that bit closer to mable like you Simon...I would have nipped down there for an hour....but a 2.5hr round trip plus an hour to get on and off the beach...seems hardly worth the effort.....having said that, I did do a half hour session with Jabab at mable once lol

I can always find you a nice place to buy on the coast Carl....lol...remember, it will be on the flood plain though.

TBH you didn't miss that much last night......the wind had turned well to the south so I did 6 miles of tacking through soft mush and ponds as the tide was only just going out. Sam has invented the new sport of sand surfing courtesy of a piece of correx packing case..........he had a whale of a time!!!

Wind looks pants for today and tomorrow - still you never know, they have been wrong before. Anyway, I have to make an appearance at the Legbourne village cricket match for all comers tonight followed by the usual kids and parents footie match, so will need most of tomorrow to recover!!

Well guys we've been duped by the weather blokes today

Took the family to the beach and loaded the buggy up with badminton gear, tent, stove hot dog suasages, newspapers etc etc as the wind was only going to be 3mph - towed all the gear and set it up in a quiet spot away from the grockles, cooked and ate hot dogs, cuppa tea etc and guess what? 15 mph easterly.

Badminton out of the question, kids in sea, wife reading paper in tent and HOUSE on the buggy through grockle city - 10 miles in 50mins and great buggying in either direction.

I will be watching it very closely tomorrow morning - might have to forego my lie in Andy !!!!

Off to the cricket match now:(

Well we won with 2 overs in hand:eek: Had to go up to the stage and get the prize - a bag of jelly beans for each team member...........;)

This is the hi life guys

Managed to creep out of the hall before the parents air guitar competition:D
