T595 Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Where do you go snow boarding?? Who cares, damn snowboarders (present company excepted Gonz and that's only cos of who you are ) are worse than people who fly de-power and they ruin the piste for proper snow based people! Long live the two plank's attached to your feet brigade
avspider Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 No flying for us sat boooo. Family stuff to do. we're both joint clsc for 2009 anybody else intersted it's £40 per person Inc ins (it covers the ho too) We're planning 4 weekends at least for clsc club weekends, and the summer jam too.
g0nz01599968659 Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 tsk, bloody skiers dawdling down the hill & snowplowing into trees as soon as some actual snow falls:rolleyes: I go to calshot (when I can be bothered) to ride the carpet.... I cant wait to actually go away in January. Not quite sure where yet, but a glacier in France is looking likely. Good snow reports out there already! Im going kiting the weekend... assuming there is some wind. If not then a nice longboard skate will be in order. Dan
avspider Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Finges crossed for a fly sunday lunchtime/early pm for a bit
T595 Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 supposedly the ski slope at the leisure centre is ok for non stylish snow bashing (that's snowboarding that is ) even for a dry ski slope... Dry slope thumb is not the way forward to buy some good gloves if your going to try it. I feel the need..... beeeeeeer.....mmmm mmmm
Fat Bloke Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 T595 if you really want dry slope info (and lots of it.....) give me a shout. Additionally getting up to speed on indoor slopes - in fact we're at milton keynes at stupid o'clock tomorrow morning...........Dan we will be in Les Houches form about the 28th Dec to 7th-ish of Jan. So if your in, or around the Chamonix area, possible link up. We'll leave the racers in their box and go up to Argentiere :-)

avspider Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 cool footage dude. Well the new buggy now erm.... well and truelly lowered hehehe I'll be raising it a bit for local use, but for the beach it's an inch from the floor, not sure if the max camber is going to help
martin Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 That was surprisingly good quality considering the artificial light. I know how these things like a lot of natural light to work good. You'll get some excellent video in the summer. Can it go in the water?
g0nz01599968659 Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 Martin - Yeah, it can be used for diving! Waterproof to 100ft:D http://www.goprocamera.com/ Its gonna rock for kiting:cool: AV - Better not hit too many razor shells then;) Dan
