avspider Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 So what colour is the 7? We're all hoping for ppppppppink??? and as for new toys, it seems that the moose is off to collect a new "run around" today... but it's GOLD!! I'm thinking it won't be long before starts asking for a re-spray
bartiebat1599968741 Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 Hiya, heading to southampton tomorrow & will be back there again on monday. Could you tell me where to go for land fun & also water fun (it doesn't matter if they're 2 different locations). I don't know the area at all so directions or satnavness would be greatly appreciated Thanks Karen x
avspider Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 On land, try Lordshill (field behind David Lloyd lesuire), I think KS @ calshot is members/ins etc specific, but i'm sure g0nz0 will let you know when he wakes up. Or weston shore for both... if it's a westerly
g0nz01599968659 Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 Allo:) Calshot rocked last night.... kited till it went dark! 7m is red & blue (v sensible for me - must stop buying kites for what they are rather than what they look like.....) its super fast & pokey. Took a slam in the lagoon doing speed runs with Si. hehe:D BB - Calshot is members only (free parking, loos, showers etc) , although some people do launch from the public car park....... Alt, there is Lepe Beach or Weston Shore or Hill Head. Depends where in Southampton u will be based as to whats closest:) The Witterings are the nearest 'proper' beach. Bring booties for KSurfing otherwise:rolleyes: Google maps should help you out with those locations & wind directions. Land wise what AV said.... give us a shout if u r going out. Dan
bartiebat1599968741 Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 Ta for that. Staying in Eastleigh travelodge on way to & from IOW, but have tent & just 1 buggy, landboard & kiteboard in van to fight over, so if it's any good will hang round a little longer. Look out for Peter Lynns & pink bug
