avspider Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 Isn't that tattoo on your back going to stop you buggying? WS is looking good for an evening session tonight. Just had a day at the beach while you've all been working:p Not at all, it's teh top half of my back, and just betweeen shoulder blades. beach.... I've just had 2 weeks off
T595 Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 Not fair! Some of us were still working at 6pm! Having said that if by 'working' this means blowing a TVR Cerbera into the weeds on the A32 and scaring the sh!t out oneself going round corners at 120+mph then i am glad i was working and not flying
martin Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 I'll be at WS again tonight if the wind is any good.
avspider Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 Martin, have you made a decision on the tyre's for the weekend? A tip for the weekend, if your heading out in a buggy, MAKE SURE you have a tow rope with you
martin Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 I'm sticking to what i've got, the tread may slow me down a bit but i'm there for fun, not proffesional racing. At least i won't sink if i come across some soft stuff, i still haven't made a mudguard so i'll be covered in sand.
T595 Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 You taking both bug's with you? Don't forget the camera if you do want to...
martin Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 Dunno about both bugs, unless someone wants to go tandem at :eek:mph? Or do you want to borrow it, although you may be a tad too tall for it? Are you taking an air bed to sleep on? I am & it would be silly to take 2 pumps.

martin Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 It's alright but not brilliant. If it's a comedy it's not funny enough. There's an unexpected twist in the middle. It's original, i'll give it that.
T595 Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 Martin, if you have a bicycle pump with a schrader valve attachment on it can you also bring it? My Scrub board wheels have deflated, long board for long cruising....
avspider Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 I hope people are packing the body armour!!!! and the little kites, if we get the wind predicted tomorrow, i'll be on either the 4/3.4 or 3m (rm). But if as normal it's more there than predicted i'll be on the 2.1!!
martin Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 I'll bring a bin bag, i can cut it down to what size i like.

avspider Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 AV - are you going to save a couple of tent spaces for me & Al? I'm only bringing a pop-up...........coz i'm small. There's ONLY 100 people going, there's plenty of room - just don't pitch infront of any vehicle that might want to get to the beach carpark:eek: We won't be there untill late tonight, and then getting a little tipsy:D
avspider Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 Well we're all back in one piece, great weekend. yesterday was 30+ sometimes 40+ straight up the beach and wet. I was on the 2.1ld on 15's, martin occasionally on the 3m firebee, as was T595, and rich on the mac bego 200. today was about 20 onshore, so doing 5mile runs!! I was on the 3m sami, martin on the 3.4m yak, and T595 was still on the 3m firebee and rich on the 200 mac bego. that is one very nice beach
