martin Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 Was a good weekend, i've got a few bruises & i ache but that's it, my PL took more damage than i did. If Mike agrees to us setting up a rope next year it will be a lot better & safer. I think we portrayed the sport in a good light, i saw a few people at different times asking questions & taking leaflets. Did anyone get a photo of my missus in the tandem? She actually enjoyed it for the brief time she was in it. Maybe she'll come to Pembrey?

They spent some time taping my young family flying some single liners (we got them with the lines a few times too, heh). Was also nice to run into one of the forum members I knew from here some years ago but never met before in person.

I got down there on Sunday about 4pm just when you were all packing up, then the guy on the loudspeaker said 'we were going to have the buggies out in the arena again, but it looks like they have all packed up after most of them getting injuries, just goes to show how careful you have to be with this sport'
