Crob203 Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 Oh, and hardly anything will fly in less than 8 mph. Your best off watching the grass grow tbh! Chris Quote
Little an Large Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 for the windspeed stated a big blade is probably one of the only reliable power sources really either the 8.5 or 10.5 can be had fairly cheaply slingshot twin skin?? maybe before my time, do u fancy posting some pictures Quote
ants_in_ya_pants Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Get yourself 8.5 blade would be my suggestion, it quite happily flies in even the lightest of breezes, when virtualy all other kites are on the ground or struggling May well be selling mine at the end of the month if you are interested Quote
SPIKY JACK Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 TRY A BLADE III 10.5 ON 40 mtr LINES IT MITE BE A BIT ON THE SLOW SIDE BUT ONCE ITS UP THERE THE HANG TIME IS SO SWEEEEET YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO Quote
drjoefo Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 how come longer lines are better for light winds? because it can get cleaner air? Quote
