Newbie One Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Car all loaded, just got to drop of two people at Bourneville for 11:00 then I'll be on my way to Hydro. Sunny & showers but hey that will make the field slippy :D , winds still forecast for 10-12mph. You know you want to .
PB Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 what was hydro like today? couldnt make it. 100% tomorrow if it doesnt rain. im buying a peter lynn bar tomorrow, im selling my 4.9 cus its got that bridel proplem, and getting a small kite for the winter, and christmas ill get another blade 4.9 and a 9 phanny. just worked it all out and its all good. he he
crut Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Hydro was really fun. The 11G2 was nice. My hip is really sore after messing up the transition but hoping some pain killers, a night on the tiles and a good nights sleep will set me right
jamiejayy Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Hello Chris At The Bottom Know:) :) :)
crut Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Hey Jamie! Glad you got your kite out of those power lines, could have been a royal pain in the arse
Paula Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Hydro was the best today wind was spot on:D really enjoyed whizzing over the field with me 4mtr Sammi:D Absolutely brilliant. A sudden gust pulled me straight out of me buggy just dragging me face down across the field doing a super man impression, had to let go of one handle to stop. Couldnt stop laughing. The same gust also caught JamieJ causing him to let go and the kite ending up over power cables as the bottom of the field. Oops! Luckily both the kite and Jamie were all ok! It was good to see Frakke and his mate from the Swindon Sky Pirates again. I think the wind was a bit better this time than the last time we saw them. Newbie (Gary) bought himself a new BIII 4 mtr and also ended up sliding accross the field on his a**e. Oops again! The day finished off with a real downpour but is didnt matter as the day was so good. Hopefully we will do the same again tomorrow:cool:
Badger.. Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Whats this transition u r talking about is it something to do with taking of & the ground:D Hydro was really fun. The 11G2 was nice. My hip is really sore after messing up the transition but hoping some pain killers, a night on the tiles and a good nights sleep will set me right

crut Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 It was good to see Frakke and his mate from the Swindon Sky Pirates again. I think the wind was a bit better this time than the last time we saw them. Agreed! Always good to see the sky pirates! Good group of people.
