Smogthemog Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 what colour did you get it in jim Ri chie (and how long before it gets modified with stainless steel and/or a jet engine...) We ain't ordered it yet - going for the black or red base with green top. You can even have it so it runs on just the 2 big wheels for beach use
Pilgrim Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Good evening fellow surfers, Tomorrows footie match has been cancelled so I'm free to fly. However, wind's from the South so Mable will be pants. Ain't that just typical...
Ri chie Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 dont do red and green, youll look like your flying a flexi kite in those awful rasta colours... I see the one point you wanted it is there in your last post jimbo... If there is a session going on tomorrow does anyone want to pick me up Ri chie
krafty Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 hello people, its been a long time since i posted or flew due to ongoing shoulder problems, but been getting back into it in the last few months. Just thought id say that im a bit annoyed at ferry meadows, got a very highly strung park ranger taking great pleasure in telling me you not allowed to buggy in the big field anymore, when did this happen?, no one else in the field at all and he still said no, "catch you again and il have to ask you to leave the park for the saftey of other users", what other users? there just me, tosser.... Is there any were else you can buggy near peterborough?
Ri chie Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 krafty, since i have been flying traction kites (2003) and even before then when flying sport kites people have been kicked off for buggying or boarding... near pboro, empingham road playing field in stamford... Ri chie
krafty Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Nice one, thats not to far away for me.....When the best times to go, is it big, does it get busy?
Ri chie Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 erm, dunno really, sundays are noramlly a good bet, but i dunno when the footballers are playing this year, erm its not huge by any means, but depends on wind direction, if its blowing across ways id guesstimate you could get 7-8 people down there comfortably, if its blowing the length of the field it can seem to get crowded very much quicker.... One thing thats a good idea though is to try and keep off the cricket square (you cant miss it, its the really nice piece of grass near the top end) as that has caused some problems in the past.... Ri chie
