Kinda cant believe that it went from a few people discussing that a listing looked abit suspect on Ebay to some chap ranting about a Mob trying to kill a Pediatrician cause they could'nt spell!!! Jims offending sentence was along the lines of ......... "dodgy as hell, do'nt waste your time on the jerk" which turns into claims of slander and personal insult. :p Me and Vicky have been chuckling all night over the OTT reaction. One of the joys of the Flexi forum.

Mike R Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Bl**dy hell log off early yesterday to skive off to the powerkite shop, Get back in this morning to old thread closed and five pages of a new one , Pheww:) Ri Chie Bought some barrows and new Dirty Dog Helmet yesterday so a bit of reworking the bug over the weekend . :D Got some nice toys in the powerkiteshop but I did manage to restrain myself . Surely if the car is ademo its been registered and therfore you can just goto Lincoln Road and redo it yourself . Trouble is they have'nt toold the garages of all the changes. No prob with the car we are buying, its all about us px'ing the Truck but keeping our private plate. It used to be really easy to do............... but ......... NOT any more!! You cannot do ANYTHING over the counter at the DVLA place at Lincoln Rd any more, it all has to be done by post. The guy from Audi went to Lincoln Rd to sort the retention doc and was told that he could'nt do it 'over the counter'. My log book has to be sent to the DVLA in Swansea to be stamped and then posted back to the dealership. Only then do they have legal right to buy the car off me in part-x. The guy from Audi was pretty annoyed as they had'nt been told of the changes and had wasted time going to Lincoln Rd. All its done it made everyones life harder and given DVLA Swamsea even more work to do. I guess all the regional offices will be closed shortly:rolleyes:
